    Perfect, perfect. I brought my 20 year old daughter who really appreciated the french experience. My husband spoils me as Lavendou is among my french favorites.

    As always, the entire visit to Lavendou was excellent! The food is lovely, and the wine list provides many choices. The service was outstanding and very helpful with suggestions. The service at Lavendou is a primary factor for us, and it has always been excellent. We went for lunch, the first time for a lunch visit without it being a special occasion. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to experience an intimate and unpretentious lunch with their spouse or significant other.

    Such a hidden gem. The menu is wonderful. The coziness is perfect. The staff is amazing. Our waiter, Jean Phillippe, was beyond expectations! Celebrated a birthday, and I couldn't have chosen a better place! Merci beaucoup!!

    Fabulous food. That is because owner is always present. Only drawback was service person scraping food off plate to stack the dirty dishes but that is minor compared to scallops and flounder we had

    We have been dining at Lavendou for years and we love it. It's a charming cozy informal French restaurant featuring deliciously prepared fresh food and a wait staff that is second to none. The owner is warm and friendly, the menu features everything from seafood to steak to more exotic French offerings, and the wine selection is a Wine Spectator award winner. Hanging out at the bar is also lots of fun..

    Just south of the Bush Turnpike on Preston you’ll find this bit of Provence in a strip center. Great Provencal ambience, excellent menu and distinctive personal French service. The ladies’ trout amondine was excellent. My somewhat dry and a little tough pork medallions were more than rescued by a wonderful sauce and tasty vegetable medley. Excellent wine list and very fairly-priced entrees. Very much worth the trip and we’ll be back.

    Great food always. The foie gras was amazing. The charcuterie board was awesome too. Lamb chops and pork were very tasty and cooked to perfection. Fries are exactly the same I get in French bistros. So so good! Dessert of apricot tart was delicious. Love this restaurant. I return routinely a couple of times a months. Highly recommended!

    My husband had the filet of sole with crabmeat and I enjoyed the delicious grilled salmon. Both entrées were prepared perfectly and were wonderful. We also had bottle of Bordeaux that was very good. Thank you to Pascal, Pierre and his great staff.

    Highly recommended. Whether dinner or lunch, the food is great, the service is incredible, and the ambiance is so French. Truly one of our top choice for our date night or for entertaining friends. A special shout out to our favorite waiter, Raphael. Incredibly attentive to our needs and the details of service. Plus he is a great guy!!!

    Lavendou is always excellent. Pascal and his staff are wonderful and makes sure everyone is happy with their meal. Friday and Saturday nights are very busy so make sure you have a reservation.

    The salads are fresh and wonderful. My husband had the filet of sole with crabmeat and I had the salmon. Both were prepared perfectly and were delicious. Lavendou won't disappoint you ... promise. You need a reservation on weekends.

    Our go-to French restaurant. Could have ordered anything but this time settled on the fixed price menu during Dallas Restaurant Week to support North Texas Food Bank. Didn’t stop us from selecting a nice wine - Bandol was recommended and was perfect. My choices from the fixed price menu were exceptional. Restaurant was humming. Reservations always make sense here.
