Good service, Nice staff, Beautiful music. We have enjoyed a wonderful Christmas bunch with my family. Elegant hotel and beautiful Christmas tree at Lobby!!!!

We dined at the restaurant on Christmas Eve. Absolutely beautiful festive decor and the live music was wonderful. There was a huge selection for the buffet- our only issue is that most of the "hot" food was not hot- lukewarm at best. It was our first time eating there so this could be a fluke, and of course it was a busy Holiday evening. Service was excellent though!

Its my fourth venture to Faurmont Laurel Court holiday buffet lunch. It is excellent and overpriced. This year2023 there was too much lettuce and i would prefer no lettuce and a spinach salad. The best of al were desserts J

It took over 20 minutes to receive water. The table was dirty and sticky, and our tableware was dirty as well. Our drinks either had no flavor or were watered down, it was difficult to tell. The food itself was delicious but the experience overall was not good considering the price point. Room service for items from the restaurant was almost double the cost for the exact same food. This up charging was problematic for a reputable establishment.

12/23/23 people were tramping through the restaurant to the bar to get drinks for their friends hanging around the Christmas tree: a mob of people. The Fairmont should have closed the doors to the restaurant instead they allowed a steady stream of traffic directing in the middle of the beautiful classy restaurant! We were so excited to have an elegant dinner at the fairmont just the two of us but instead the hotel chose the $ from the bar not us!

I've done the Holiday tea before - in previous years (even in COVID!) there were more "elves" doing magic, tricks, balloon animals, etc - who come up to the table for the kids. This year, there was only one for the whole restaurant. We can get tea and sandwiches anywhere - we come for the "magic" and that didn't happen this year. For $200/pp not sure I can justify doing it again without the holiday magic! Too bad.

The Swordfish was so hard to cut, not taste. We expect more from The Fairmont. The desserts were nothing to be excited about. Service was not what we expected at The Fairmont. This was our special family Christmas Night which was disappointing on the food and service department. The Christmas decor was amazing though. An amazing experience on that.

Food quality was mixed; roasted chicken was overcooked but pasta was good. Only convenient place to eat in Nob Hill which has few options

They seem to be extremely under staffed. The staff there were great but overwhelmed. Food was good but it was very loud during the holidays.
