The food for tea service looked a bit old and the sandwiches were very dry.

It should be marked as more $$ because it’s more like $30-$60 a plate. The ambiance is great but once you take that away, you get hit or miss service and way over-priced food that just isn’t actually that good. It’s basically Vegas fine dinning.

Holiday tea is always a family favorite! The tea sandwiches and desserts were not great this year! All of them were dry and flavorless! Tea was good! Service great!

We really wanted to enjoy this holiday experience. We went to see the gingerbread house and wanted to have a nice holiday high tea. The ambiance inside the room was nothing special, the noise level was high. The service was mediocre. The scones(dry), tea sandwiches(unremarkable) and desserts (mass produced) were all mediocre. For the price, we expected to be wowed...and definitely were not. My teenage daughters asked to go to Lovejoys instead next time.

Holiday tea was very poor value for price charged. Understaffing resulted in long waits. The few staff were very good but unable to keep up with customers needs. Food was very uneven quality… a few excellent but others mediocre. Chandon champagne was excellent. Unfortunately would not do this again.

I’ve done several holiday tea experiences in San Francisco but never this one so I was really excited to take my daughter. Unfortunately it wasn’t what I had hoped—the food was sparse, my champagne glass was empty far too often and instead of modifying for my daughter’s nut allergy, they just cut the food out so she had half the amount. It was disappointing and unfortunate especially considering the price point. I’m pretty bummed.

We had Holiday Tea at Laurel Court. It’s a fun family activity, but I didn’t think the food or service was up to the price point. The food overall was a little disappointing and not on par with other high tea that I’ve experienced, especially for $150 per person. The service was good, but they messed up our tea order from the start and the sandwiches felt like a bit of an afterthought. The desserts were mostly tasty and the high point.

Thanksgiving buffet was missing a lot of food and the staff seemed to be ready to shut it down. We had to search for a host when we arrived. Our waiter did not seem familiar with the menu

For Thanksgiving, the buffet was average food for an exorbitant price. Great service, though!

Had a reservation for 5pm and were seated after we waited 45 mins, by 6:15 had water and the champagne and by then some of the stations were not replenished because it was the end of service. Was OK, won’t go back for this - either that or go right when they start seating.
