Our trip was great. We sat outside and had a wonderful time. We will be back.
Nice place to safely eat outside overlooking the water. Last time we had a beautiful view. This time there was a tent set up between the patio seating and the water which was disappointing as it obscured the view. I had the fish tacos which were delicious but rather small pieces of fish in each one. My friend had a pulled pork taco special which she really liked.
We are outside. The service was very good. My favorite part of the meal was the French fries. They were so good!
Food service remains excellent. Restaurant staff are really good about observing Covid-19 precautions. Still a good place to eat.
Could not have a more beautiful day, weather was almost 70 degrees
Great atmosphere, good food and amazing staff ... what more can you ask for!
Service and Food were excellent - a bit pricey - but worth it
Lunch with two friends was very enjoyable under the tent with a view of Mystic River. We all had drinks and lobster rolls (two hot, one salad). As always, service was prompt, pleasant and attentive. We'll miss outdoor dining once the temperature plummets.
The kale and chorizo soup was delicious. The seasonal salad was fresh and the perfect compliment to my salad. The wait staff was courteous and attentive. I am an out of town visitor and made this restaurant selection on the fly, excellent choice!
Sweet waitress, but not a good server. Waited for a second round of drinks for a whiiiiile. Food was very good but was pretty much cold when it got to me. I think she forgot to bring it out. Expensive, although I know that mystic is quite pricey.
Dined indoors for the first time this fall. Lat 41 meet all the requirements for Covid distancing in its indoor dining room. Service was very goo. Food was excellent. We will be back.
Great place to have lunch outside with a view of the water.
The burgers were excellent as was the service and the price was very reasonable.
Food was amazing - salmon, sweet potato mash and roasted brussel sprouts - highly recommend. Portions huge. Staff super nice and accommodating. Will go back!
Great food and service. Looking forward to dining again at Latitude 41
Excellent meal- outdoors under a lovely tent! Waterside location is very nice. Food and service were outstanding. The miso short rib meal was delicious. Large portion, meat was fork tender and mouth watering. Pappardelle with short ribs was also very good. They were out of creme bruler so we passed on dessert.
We had reservation and were seated promptly. Our waiter Ryan was pleasant and provided decent to good service. Sometimes he seemed distracted or maybe overwhelmed. We opted to sit inside as it was a little chilly and we remember the chairs outside from previous visit were uncomfortable. The ambiance inside was very pleasant and quiet. The food however was not great. First off the menu was quite different from online. There was no raw bar available and were told they stopped offering the raw bar previous day ( we dined on Saturday night ). They would not even let us have cooked shrimp cocktail even though you could add shrimp as option to salads. The clam chowder was good, Caesar salad decent, however the main courses were lacking big time. My daughter had fish and chips which were standard flavor and style and good. My wife had halibut which was tiny, flavorless and had no sauce at all ! Just a pan seared piece of fish. I had the salmon which was again very small and lacked flavor. This place has the formula down as far as dining establishment, but does not deliver on whole package ( mainly they fall short on most important aspect of dining, the food )
Our table was outdoors under a large tent along the water on a very nice evening in Mystic. Our waiter did a very nice job. Our meals were very good.
Staff was very unorganized
Wrong food was delivered
Fish special had no flavor
I was disappointed that the menu was not the same as the on-line version. There was no brunch menu. The sandwich I had was delicious.
Server was wonderful, attentive, great personality
Our waiter John was excellent he is a great representative for the restaurant.
Shrimp cocktail, raw clams and oysters top notch!
Great experience. Will go back
Our server was fabulous, the view was spectacular, and the food was outstanding. We will be back next weekend with friends.
I’ve been coming here for almost ten years. Love this restaurant. Don’t ever change.
Perfect!! Baked oysters were lovely, fish and chips well executed . The steak and shrimp special was delicious and medium rare steak was perfectly cooked. Our server was John and he’s a rockstar!!! Phenomenal service!!
We all loved our food, the ambiance and had a fantastic server, Ryan!
Everything was great except the bee hive that must have been agitated somewhere near their patio! Dive bombed by bees the entire visit! Waiter was great and understanding! Obviously not their fault, but very hard to enjoy!
Love the view of the river and the specials. Food is great. Glad Latitude 41 has survived the pandemic.
Wonderful outdoor dining experience! Socially distanced tables right along the water. Live music on Friday night. Wonderful food and ambiance! Highly recommend the lobster pot pie.
The outdoor area where we dined overlooked the river. That was nice. The area under the tent was ok but no ambience. Folding tables and chairs on dead grass, I guess under the circumstances is understandable. The food was not as good as the last tine we were there. Portions were good. My lobster roll had little flavor. My husband said his fish tacos were just a ball of breaded fish, very dry and more bread than fish.
Lovely by the water.
Requested and received a table under the tent with lawn and river view. Table spacing was more than adequate to meet guidelines and it proved to be a very pleasant experience all around. We were pleased to have found this restaurant.
The small plate Wild Mushroom Cavetelli was the best small plate my wife and I ever had. Her lobster pot pie was excellent and I tried something new - grilled lobster cheese sandwich - glad I tried something new. Our waitress Kristen took really good care of us.
We enjoyed eating at Latitude ! We sat outside overlooking the very foggy Mystic River under two huge tents! They were lit perfectly ! We loved the atmosphere !
We had cocktails that were good.
I had the clam chowder. It was loaded with lots of clams. There was a smokiness about which came from the bacon. It was thick but not overly corn starch thick. My only issue was it was just a tiny bit too salty but that certainly didn’t stop me from finishing every drop! Definitely would have it again.
I had cod tacos. The cod was perfectly fried! Crispy on the outside , soft and flavorful on the inside. I felt this dish lacked seasoning. A squeeze of lime would have brightened the entire dish up.
Our server was very attentive and friendly !!
The service was horrible ! I couldn’t even get a refill on my water and the Chicken my Mother ordered was dry and no flavor. I had the Short Ribs and they were outstanding! This restaurant was over priced and over hyped. Very disappointed and won’t return.
Everything was perfect from the moment we checked in - The food, service and ambience was perfect
The staff was great! I was able to pre pay for a special night out for my daughter and her boyfriend. They made sure they had a great table and were lovely!
Ryan was a great waiter! He got us are drinks at the right time, delivered the food hot and was super friendly. The atmosphere was wonderful and food was fantastic. Perfect date night!
This was my third time lunching at Latitude, so that speaks to my enjoyment of both the food and the atmosphere. We sat under the big tent, looking out over Mystic River. The day was hot and humid but a lovely breeze kept us quite comfortable. Both my friend and I ordered lobster rolls: Mine hot with melted butter; hers cold lobster salad. Mine was excellent; my friend said that hers was not quite as flavorful as the last time but could not pinpoint what had changed.
Service was prompt and our waiter was very pleasant, very helpful. The lobster rolls were a bit expensive ($24 each) but were packed with lobster meat, so we felt they were worth the price.
