The Mission Inn is magical and La Campanas is solid Mexican cuisine! Great service with Stephen including the tableside quac that he knocked out of the park!

Very slow and unfriendly service. My $20 cocktail was served with cream dripping all over the edge and they didn’t offer to replace or remake and that was after waiting 20 minutes for it. It was not busy. One cup of coffee was $7 and they didn’t even bring me the refill. You can’t beat the location though. Once a year place maybe….

Lovely outdoor dining. Had to wait for 1/2 hour for our table with an 8p.m. reservation. Food was average.

Highly disappointed. Mother’s day dinner reservation at 7:30 pm. Checked in at exactly 7:30 and told we will text you when ready. 8:00 rolls around so check back with host snd told 5 parties ahead of us and verified correct phone number on file. 9:00 rolls around check back with host again. This time a different guy sats hmmmmm, you are marked as a no show!!!!! We waited 1.5 hours and this???? Ridiculous! Spoke with the manager and we were offered desserts. I appreciate the token but it was insanely hot and we were miserable waiting that long. Never again.

Overcooked steak, underwhelming mediocre Mexican inspired food in an incredibly amazing and historic space. Have been visiting for decades and will again for the ambience and historical significance, not so much the food.

Came here on a Thursday night. I thought the food was going to be authentic Mexican food. First off the salsa tasted like something off the grocery store shelf. That's usually the first clue. Ordered the chili verde and it was very salty. It had a pile of onions and cilantro on top, had never had it served like this before, ever and we eat a lot of Mexican food. The rice was very basic and so were the beans. Regular store bought tortillas, also thought they would be made in house. They saved the experience by letting us have a shot of one of their best tequilas, Asombroso. Very pricey, but worth it if you're into to tequila. The tequila bar was closed, (weird) because they were not expecting people wanting to go in and taste tequila? This is at a high end hotel. I wouldn't be back. Server was very nice and provided good service. Only patio dining, no indoor dining. It was chilly and they set up the heater next to us. The hotel entrance is very grand and very captivating.
