   As always this place doesn't disappoint for ambience. This is a great place to sit and enjoy a cocktail. The food could be better and the limited menu was a bit disappointing; however, last night's service was awesome! Our server Sena was charismatic, kind, and attentive to our needs. His stories and overall professionalism made our night.

   food and service was great but the cook did not fill one of the orders and the waitress had to get one of the orders done stat! The chicken fajitas came fast and was delicious. Enjoyed the meal very much.

    We waited over an hour after we arrived to get our appetizer. It was ok. Not great but not horrible. Then 20 minutes later we received our dinners. The chicken fajitas were barely warm and felt cold to the touch. The Carne asada was tough and tasteless. Also not very warm. The server was embarrassed and quickly took the food away. We declined to order anything else as we were tired of waiting and over it by then.

    The food quality went way down, while the prices have gone way up. The chicken from the fajitas I ordered tasted reheated and rubbery. The chicken was very white like it wasn’t cooked on a grill! The rice also tasted reheated. The salsa didn’t taste the same either - very bland. The margarita has soda in it! Common! They are not justifying their price hike. I tasted all the corners they are trying to cut! Living in LA, I can find excellent Mexican food for affordable prices. To compare, Javier’s in LA has similar prices, but they make everything fresh and they source high quality meat from other states. You can taste that in their food and drinks. This was a massive disappointment, especially on Mother’s Day where the kitchen should have been on their game, attracting more customers. I can’t take my family back for celebrations. They too were unsettled by the prices. On a positive note, the server and atmosphere were great.

    Came for mothers day and they gave us a nice shaded table near the lobby. Our server was very kind, and the food was very tasty. This was my first time but the rest of the group had been here before. Even for such a busy day, they definitely did not rush us and let us take our time eating, drinking, and socializing. I would definitely make the drive out again. Maybe get a room if you can, the hotel looks very nice if you are coming far enough.

    This ones gonna hurt. The food sucks but the amazing ambience kinda makes you overlook it. The good: margaritas were delicious, guacamole & chips, carnitas were tender but needed more spices, outdoor dining was amazing. The bad: beans and enchilada sauce all from canned food. There’s nothing here that even resembles home cooked Mexican food. The wet burrito sauce again, canned sauce. The long wait for the food and the prices were steep. I would however come back for the view, drinks and apps, skip the entrees.

    We were seated 35 minutes after our reservation time and got our food very late (2 hours and 30 minutes for dinner is too much). Apparently, you were very overbooked and the loud voices (complainers) got seated before us. It was pretty frustrating! Will never come on Mother's Day weekend again. We thought Sat. would be ok but it was crazy and not too enjoyable...

    This is not my first time visiting this restaurant. We waited one hour and Forty-five for our food . The manger let someone else know he used to be a cook. We wondered why he didn’t get back there and help the kitchen when they were obviously understaffed. For the cost we will not be returning.

    Bad Mexican food served in ridiculous giant round silver chafing dishes, sitting around who knows how long. 5 meat dishes and old, smashed, below average cheese enchiladas. Nothing labelled. Average salad. Great desserts, though. They really should be ashamed to serve this food at such a wonderful green, flowering place and charge $40.00/person. Great service doesn't make up for bad food. No wonder no one was there for lunch.
