    Complete disappointment Good was sub par and service was ok until Stephan break and then we were delivered food and he disappeared. In reservation note it said celebrating a birthday and no one acknowledged that we left without even being offered dessert. When the sub server came back we have been alone for 25 mins so we asked for the check and left. Beyond disappointed Avocado used for guacamole wasn’t even ripe yet There was no manager checking in anywhere on site either. When we walked out there was no host to say goodbye and ask how it was.

    Food was not good. I had the wet burrito. It was small, cold inside the burrito (shredded cheese not melted at all and cold). Green sauce wasn't good. My mom had the steak tacos. Extremely small portion, plate looked empty when served. Little scoop of rice and beans which did not taste very good. Will not be back. Quality did not match price of food. Don't mind small portions of food tastes good! Our table was super dirty when we sat down. Hard rice and chip crumbles scattered on table. Yuck.

    Service was very slow, but it's that time of the holiday season! We ordered the shredded beef tacos and unfortunately one of the orders came out wrong (carne asada) and we had to wait for the right order. Meat in the tacos and burrito was dry and flavorless, beans were salty. House margarita was weak and tasted pre-mixed. Nice outdoor ambiance, but a disappointing overpriced meal and we will not return.

    We have dined a number of times in the past. Maybe due to the higher volume during the holidays, the overall experience was less than expected. We had a number of issues with our food, getting everyone served at the same time and the right selections of tortillas. It was intended to be a birthday celebration but unfortunately the experience left us with a bad memory.

    It’s very lovely outdoor sitting at the hotel.  the chips and salsa is really good. Nice fresh thin crispy chips and salsa is very tasty. We all had the chicken enchiladas with rice and refried beans. The meal was unremarkable. And the refried beans had way too much cumin in them. Probably won’t go back.

    My families yearly Christmas outing. Completely ruined by terrible service and a Manager that was completely rude. We waited 15 for them to take our drink order. Waited an hour for our dinner, which never came out. Staff blamed a machine but everyone around us had their food. Spoke to the manager and he was rude and not apologetic at all. Love the Mission Inn for Christmas but will never eat at Las Campanas again!

    I really want to like this place more. I try to support the Mission Inn and the outdoor patio is lovely. The staff is friendly and helpful but the service is slow, the menu is small and the food is uninspired. My partner requested extra garlic with his entree and our server came back and told him that they had no garlic left in the kitchen, it had all been used up that morning (in a Mexican restaurant)! 10 minutes later she returned with a dish of garlic that she had gotten from one of the other kitchens in the hotel, which was a really nice effort on her part. The location is great and the staff does their best but I think it will be a while before I return.

    The environment and service was good. The food was below average for the price. We had tacos. The tortillas were tough, the meat was sparse, but good. It would have been better served with a wedge of lime and a choice of hot sauce or salsa. The refried beans were good. The rice lacked flavor. We have had better quality tacos and rice at a taco shop.

    Reservations at 5:00. Arrived 2 min early and she couldn’t find our reservation. I had my OpenTable confirmation so we were seated after almost 10 min. After seeing numerous wait staff and managers wandering through the restaurant and us waiting almost 20 minutes with no one acknowledging us, I finically got the attention of one! We learned that our server had not come to work! Another 5 minutes to get our drink order another almost 10 to get our drinks. Food was not good, guacamole was great! Second time here, not going back!

    Arrived 5 minutes before reservation time. Very few tables occupied. Was asked to wait 15 minutes until another server arrived (?)…I reminded her I had a reservation. I was quickly seated at a table for 8…there were 3 of us! Requested a smaller table and was accommodated. The busser (Nathan) immediately brought over water, chips and a huge bowl of salsa. I told him the rest of the party were arriving shortly (traffic and street closures for Festival of Lights made it nearly impossible to get into the hotel). The waiter arrived and I ordered iced tea and also told him of the delay. When the others arrived he took our order (very limited menu and $$$). We never saw him again. Nathan kept our drinks filled. We had to BEG 4 times for more chips! The food was good (not great), the atmosphere/ environment is lovely but the service was truly AWFUL!

    Ceaser salad had dressing we didn’t recognize. Took a long time for meal to come. Brought only one entree and it was Luke warm. Twenty minutes later brought 2 new meals and they were almost cold.

    Very disappointed. The only food that was better than average was the guacamole bowl which was very good. My grandson said his chicken strips from the kids menu were also good. The rest of us found the food to be tasteless, delivered cold and/or overdone. I left over 90% of my fajita dinner untouched and said no thanks to a take home container. Service was less than average. Very sad that standards are so low.

    The ambiance is beautiful and our waiter was very kind. However, when we first approached the host to request seating, she was interrupted by another host and we were told that it was reservation only and there were no reservations available on a Monday night. She had an extremely rude and dismissive tone. I went to college in town and was always so curious about the restaurant so we decided to check online to reserve later in the week. We found that we were able to make a reservation for 15 minutes later. We made a reservation and immediately returned to the host. There was no apology or acknowledgment of dismissiveness towards us previously. Unfortunately, all that wasn’t even worth it because our chips were burnt, salad was bland, and meals were not tasty. My margarita was amazing though! We spoke to the manager and were told that training would be improved upon, which did not acknowledge our uncomfortable experience or truly fix the problem since it was a personality/respect issue.

    Overall, the experience was ok. I ordered Cheese Enchilada's with Chili Verde. They were cold and hard and tasted like they'd been sitting there for a while and not fresh. I should have sent them back, but were crunched for time, so had a few bites. Suffered from stomach upset until the next morning. The others I was with seemed to be satisfied with their meals. It was dark, so didn't look over the bill. When I got home, noticed they charged us for a drink we didn't have. One in our party asked what kind of Vodka's were available, so we were charged for the answers...a Ketel One and Belvedere! Only had a Ketel One. Keep an eye on that!!

    Chips and salsa were not available even upon request. We were told that they ran out and only had enough for appetizer entrees even though the table next to us had chips and salsa on their table. Server was not very attentive.

    We went for the first time during the Festival of Lights. It was such a beautiful, unique experience. I felt like I was in a Hallmark movie 🎥 It’s a great restaurant for families, meeting up with friends, and for date night too!

    Las Campanas used to be really good. Now it’s terrible. The food isn’t good at all and the menu is pretty short. Very disappointed. The restaurant requires a credit card to hold the reservation and charges $25 for any changes. By the way, if you change the number of people in your party, that’s $25 PER PERSON! This restaurant is in serious decline. We’ll never go back.

    You’re paying for the ambiance. My family and I ate here during Christmas time so the inn was decorated with beautiful lights, we were outdoors but there were several heaters that kept us comfortable, the margaritas were great, but the food was average, the rice was undercooked, the staff was welcoming and kind and they were able to accommodate our stroller.

    Such a wonderful, lovely experience especially on switch on night. It was nice to escape the crowd and sit in such a lovely area. The service was phenomenal. The waitress very attentive. The food was just OK. But definitely worth dining there. My family loved the experience. We will certainly be back.

    Ambiance great, service great, food could be amazing if it wasn't so bland. I ordered chicken fajitas, meat didn't seem to be seasoned at all. Beans and rice mediocre. A little tweaking with seasoning and adding Pico de gallo to the plate would help. But you can't beat the atmosphere. Beautiful settings
