Relax in our beautifully landscaped outdoor garden and enjoy our signature margaritas.
This restaurants ambiance, service and food was all outstanding.
Food was good, service was ok. Had reservations for a party of 8. Food was brought out for most of us in a timely manner but food varied in temperature. 1 order was missed and brought out 20 minutes after all other orders and was cold, per our server, plate was forgotten therefore probably sat which explained why it was cold. Tortillas brought out 15 minutes after our food plates arrived . Ordered 3 different desert options, all amazing. Overall an ok dining experience, celebrating my wife’s birthday. We might of came on an off night which I understand happens. Might be back with a smaller party next time.
Everything was perfect as always, except our waiter was a little slow. Not sure if he was waiting on too many tables but we'll be back.
Great food great service
I was looking forward to a good Mexican dinner and great Margaritas. Unfortunately, the service and food were average. I expected more given the restaurant is at the Mission Inn Hotel. When we first arrived there was no hostess to greet you for a while. My drink, the Cactus Rose Margarita, was too sweet and didn’t look or taste like a Margarita. The tableside guacamole was good, however, before we could let the lady know we wanted it a little more spicy she had already packed up and turned around to go to the next table. Most places I’ve been to they ask you if it’s to your liking and you can usually ask for more chile or salt, etc. Then, for the gluten free menu options the list was so limited (pretty much only fajitas, tacos, white rice and beans). I was not impressed with those options. I asked the waitress if there could be some modifications to any of the regular items on the menu to make them gluten free and she looked at the menu briefly and hesitantly said “I don’t think so”. So I asked her to please ask the chef about the Chile Verde. She took quite some time to come back with an answer. Thankfully the answer was favorable and apparently the Chile Verde is gluten free, although it’s not on the gf menu. It was savory and served very hot. Furthermore, My husband ordered a second Margarita and the waitress forgot about it. He had to remind her. So overall not the worst dining experience, but also not the best. I expected great tasting Mexican food and better service for a restaurant associated with the Mission Inn Hotel.
Amazing and delicious food. I had the salmon and roasted cauliflower. The fish was cooked perfectly and the poblano sauce that the cauliflower is in is to die for. The Margaritas are tasty. Note, the regular size is just shy of the grande size in terms of volume. My friend ordered one grande and subsequent drinks were regular sized which he dumped into the grande glass :)
Not worth the money. Waited for 15 minutes to get a drink. Service sucked. Food was mediocre at best. Super expensive.
Awesome drinks & food
Las Campanas is a great outdoor restaurant. Food and service are always excellent.
There Chile rellenos were the best.... just like moms!!❤️
The service was a little slow however the food and the atmosphere was great.
This was our first time eating here. It was cold outside, so the fire lamp by the table was perfect. The food was good, and so was the service until our server left for a break. My husband and I finished our lunch and sat for more than 30 minutes before anyone came to our table. I asked another server for a to go box and waited at least 15 more minutes for her to bring one, and that’s because I had to call her over. I was very disappointed with the service, but the food was very fresh and delicious. I will go back to give it another try. I understand we all have our days, hopefully this was just one for them.
We went here before heading over to Fox Theatre for a comedy show. It was rainy so they had seating ready in the Presidential area. It was a great ambience and fantastic service. I can’t say enough about how scrumptious the table side guacamole was. I could have eaten just that as my meal and I would have been happy it was so so yummy! We all got different dishes- tacos, enchiladas, fajitas and everything was delicious! Margs were generous and tasty. We will be back!
Best valintine my wife and I has had in a very long time
We’ll be going back again and again
I remember when this was a 5 star rating for me. The past 2 visits were disappointing in food and drink quality. Since we had plans at the Fox, I thought 1 more try. Due to weather, we were moved indoors. Okay, no problem. We were 10 minutes late for 6pm reservations and called to let them know. DON'T be late! We lost our table. (They are supposed to hold your table for 15 minutes.) Had to wait 15-20 more minutes. Cadillac margueritas were served in tall glasses and tasted like a watered down regular marg. Due to time, we didn't return them. Chicken enchiladas tasted MUCH better a year ago! These were okay, but disappointing. Our server did the best she could. We ate in the bar area. Hard to have a conversation in there with a large group beside us.
I used to love coming here. Now, I agree: Mediocre food/drink for a high price.
Food and service was awsome deffinently going back again
Set in the Mission Inn hotel, the atmosphere was very romantic. Great for a date night. The place is outdoors but for a cold night, they had plenty of heaters to keep you warm. Food was very good, service was great, drinks were even better and dessert was amazing!! They had good vegetarian options as well. All around a very good experience.
Best margarita I’ve ever had.
Valet poor service in rain, no umbrellas in Hotel, very poor!
Great experience as usual. Service and food is amazing!
Food was good (not our first visit to Las Campanas) but service a bit slow...will go back but we were a bit put off by the slow service
First time there everything was amazing!! I will defiantly be going back!
This is our date night go to place in the beautiful Mission Inn
Great setting and service let down by expensive but mediocre food.
The food was very good. A little disappointed with the lack of choices in the menu but can not deny the food was very good
My server Daniela was very kind and took very good care of us. She has excellent customer service.
Disappointing meal in a lovely setting. We tried the dinner buffet to sample their menu because it was our first time dining there. Everything was cold and bland. We wont ve back.
We sat at our table for 20 minutes before we flagged down a waitress to ask if we could order. She said that she had just clocked in and would take our order and then find our waitress. We decided against having a different waitress that hadn’t even showed up to our table. The food was mediocre. My Chicken Tortilla soup was barely warm. My husband’s filet mignon fajitas were very greasy. My soup spoon was even greasy. But there was no one checking on us so we were left with a sub par meal. The ambiance was beautiful but we did not enjoy all the work in ordering, refilling drinks and asking for our check.
Had reservations for 6:00, table wasn’t ready for 15 minutes. No apology for the lateness. The girl seating us could care less about us.
Were disappointed with Mexican food, rice and beans were cold....have tasted a lot better Mexican food.
They did have good Margaritas and beautiful Christmas scenic view.
Wanted to have dinner there while the Festival of Lights was still going.
A little overpriced but the food is good. Cute setting but they need stronger heaters when it’s cold
My cheese enchiladas were great but My wife’s steak tacos were bland.. the service was incredibly slow and we had to ask twice for silverware... nice place but not the four star environment one would hope for from the mission inn...
Normally we have a good experience but our last visit the service was slow and food was lacking flavor.
Freezing temps, most of their outdoor heaters were not working , the food was ready in 5 minutes which told us is was not fresh, cheese enchiladas had blocks of non melted cheese, waitress was rude. Food was awful. Never going again. Mission inn has really taken a dive.
Always have had great service & delicious food! Wonderful ambience & beautiful surroundings. Especially love it during the Christmas holidays with all the beautiful lights & decorations.
Longer than 10 minutes after being seated before first appearance by waitress who had negativity written all over her face. Another 10 minutes before chips and salsa weee brought to table. Several mistakes made with orders. No attempt to bring heaters over lather other guests were accommodated. The last time we went we were ignored and left 30 minutes after being seated without even placing an order. We will not be back
We loved the food two years ago, food had really changed, but we continue to go because we love the location....service is great... location is perfect...
The servers were helpful, efficient and friendly. Food was very good and way overpriced.
We have made it part of our Christmas break vacation to have dinner here. My husband and I and our children look forward to this special night every year. Outstanding food and service!
