This was my first visit to Las Brisas but will not be my last! Amazing breakfast buffet, outstanding views and good service. Already planning our next visit.

The experience was good overall but we were not happy that our party of 11 after sitting down had to endure one of their staff running the vacuum on the carpets right next to our table. Why was that not done before opening the restaurant? Especially when paying approximately $30 per person for a brunch? We also had to ask for drinking water at the table more than once. Once we brought these things to the attention of the manger, things improved a lot and the rest of the experience was very good.

We’ve enjoyed eating here over the years but this time the menu was limited and the food was horrible. I was stunned since our bill for 4 entrees and no drinks was almost $100. No one liked their food. My husband got a stomach ache afterwards and he only ate half of his sandwich. I ordered a trio of lunch appetizers and they were so tiny it was like 3 small bites. Ridiculous. I had planned to order enchiladas but the ones on the menu were heavy beef rib. All in all well never go back. The view if the best anywhere. And the food used to be delicious. Not sure what has happened. Maybe a new chef?

Fantastic Mexican food and cocktails. Try the oysters! Beautiful view right on a gorgeous path with flowers. Try to get a window seat if you can. Love this place.

I left a review on yelp, but my experience with Las Brisas was so bad I don’t mind saying a little somethin more...
Hosting and seating was poor. I had a reservation for an early lunch for 3 at 11:30, and wanted a view. I was told that the many open tables near the window were taken. They were not. ( I know this because they were still empty when we left)
The food was terrible. Triple combo lunch (consisting of 3 different bite size pieces was not only insulting as a lunch item versus a starter, but horrible. Also ordered las brisas salad with 3 little shrimp which was a heaping pile of green stuff soaked in dressing with a few onions. The three added shrimp were $19. Awful!
Had two mimosas, two coffees, one dessert.
The dessert which was fried Oreos actually had onions sticking out of it. Don’t know if it is fried in the same fryer or not...
Oh and they charge $10 for valet.
Bill was $139, without tip.
Do yourself a favor, buy some “in and out” and enjoy the ambiance of beautiful Laguna Beach on the bench in front of las brisas!

Wonderful setting. Quality of food mixed. Some dishes very good. Sampler dishes - minute size and one or two did not live up to expectations. Servers somewhat brusque. Asked for mustard and was greeted with a quizzical look - took time to get it.

How can you not like Las Brisas?
I have been going to this restaurant as a child, since it began operation. Dante D., is an amazing waiter and is most-probably an unknown poet with his insight and demeanor. All of the staff is attentive and the food incredible and well presented. Great place all around. K

We have been loyal customers of Las Brisas for years. However, the quality of the food continues to slide. Las Brisas had some of the best ceviche de pescado (sea bass) anywhere but the ceviche they serve now is a far cry from that. It was mostly small shrimp and very little sea bass (listed as the first ingredient on the menu). Las Brisas was also known for some of the best traditional Mexican seafood dishes. Unfortunately, no more. The shrimp tampiquenos did not look or taste like wild Mexican prawns and the chardonnay garlic sauce was a heavy gravy. Overall, we were very disappointed in our meal as compared to what we have experienced for years at Las Brisas. Our server mentioned a lot of turnover with the chefs. This is evident in our recent meal. The bright spot is the wait staff. As usual, they are warm, friendly and accommodating. We are hoping the patio menu and quality of food has survived.

Lunch was better than dinner for selection of meals and ordering drink at the bar for lunch was made more decorative than when I ordered the same drink during dinner st our table

Fantastic meal and view. Service was excellent. Had a table for 6-a bit tight, best to request the private alcove table!

The breakfast buffet is excellent with a little bit of everything. Be sure and check out the cinnamon raisin French toast, omelets, and yogurt parfaits.

The restaurant was extremely busy but the manager went out of his way to accommodate us and insure that our experience was wonderful as always. We had a bit longer wait than anticipated but it was absolutely worth it!

The remodel is beautiful. The menu changed since we came last and I really missed the Mexican food . It’s more like a steak house now . Had the guacamole it was amazing . My husbands salad was over priced and ok . My steak was yummy . It’s a lovely beautiful place however a drunk woman ran me over on the way to the bathroom which was annoying .

The Salmon and the Filet Mignon was terrific. We shared the Chocolate Mousse cake. Excellent! I found out from the chef that everything is made fresh.

Cute place, everyone is very authentic about the food, good Italian food, service very good, restaurant was not crowded but it was Sunday night at 7.30, restaurant is hard to fine and part of the monument light is out which makes for a bad impression when you first drive up but the food was good , good wine. We enjoyed ourselves .

Overall good and I’d recommend. We went for Sunday Brunch so naturally very packed. Our server was pleasant enough but he seemed slammed. More servers needed for sure

1. Waiting period for the seats was too long even after the reservation was made on the phone.
2. Bathroom was dirty!
3. Waiting period for the foods to come was too long.
4. The waitresses were too busy and they left you alone.
