    Our server was pleasant and did the best he could. Bar service started out slow but got better. My hubby had the steak and lobster enchiladas which he said were good. I had the shrimp and crab cocktail which was not good. The star of the show was the guacamole. It was wonderful. We won’t go back even though the views of the Pacific are amazing.

    Love going to Las Brisas every year. View is the best in Laguna Beach. Beautiful restaurant. Service is great and food is good. Will continue to go for all special occasions.

    Las Brisas had the trifecta of amazing yesterday: food, service and ambiance! We’ve eaten here 3 times over the past 9 years and this was the best so far. We had table side made guacamole with 2 really great salsas, still warm chips, tortilla soup and entrees of sweet scallops and Scottish salmon. There was a complimentary cheesecake with berries for our diner celebrating a graduation and birthday. Our server, Nick, has been working here 16 years & he has stellar knowledge of the menu & special requests for a gluten free diner. The guacamole is customized with just the correct amounts of your table’s request for onion, cilantro, jalapeño & another red chile. Note to managers: it’s rather tough for the servers to push the guac cart around to individual tables during dinner rush-I’m sure it would be just as tasty made to order instead of made tableside. Our window table on a gorgeous and clear day in Laguna Beach had a spectacular near view of the Las Brisas rose garden, and the beautiful coastline distant view. Watching a parasailer hugging the beach cliffs of Laguna was a sunset plus. We will be looking forward to our next visit to Las Brisas even though it may be tough to top this overall experience!

    Celebrated an anniversary and the entire experience was amazing; worth the additional 1/2 hour wait-time added to our reservation. Been here for breakfast and happy hour in the past, first time for dinner… so many wonderful places to eat in Newport! Las Brisas is on the top of that list! We will be back!

    We sadly arrived with the welcome of a $52 set menu. We hoped for a light bite for lunch. When we had booked there was no mention of this. Our only option was to sit inside at the bar (no sight of the perfect coastal view we came for) to have the brunch menu a la carte. Our server helped massively to make this birthday brunch feel special. And the food was great. But had the set menu been mentioned when we called to book, we would have gone elsewhere. Please inform the reservations team to make this clear to guests booking brunch.

    Service from Lorenzo and his trainee (Gigi?) was friendly, well-informed about the menu, included great recommendations, and was quick and attentive to our additional requests.
