Our server was very nice and very personable however once he delivered our drinks we did not see him for the entire duration of our meal, up until approximately 15 minutes after we were done with the meal (felt a little abandoned). I had intended on ordering a second Old Fashioned, but by the time he returned to our table we needed to go. I understand it was Father's Day and my understanding is that they were short-staffed, so I'm not blaming our server directly for our not so great experience. Also, one of our meals was not prepared how we ordered it. Our server explained that he specifically noted our request and did not understand why the meal was not prepared as requested. (Credit to our server, we were not charged for that meal.) I do not mind paying more for a good meal, however when I pay $50 for a serving of halibut that could not have possibly been more than maybe 5 ounces and did not include any sides, I felt a little bit short-changed honestly. Shrimp and crab ceviche that consisted mainly of cucumber and (maybe five or six VERY small pieces of shrimp and one ridiculously tiny string of crab) for $23? I'm a very business-minded individual who understands that a business needs to make a profit, but I also believe that a customer needs to feel that they received a fair amount of value for their money. Guys, had I not still been hungry after having had an appetizer plus my main course I would be more inclined to want to return. If one day we decide to make a return visit and there is more food on our plates, you'll likely see us more often. Nick's restaurant that serves very good quality food and just up the street from Las Brisas had no available same day reservations. Las Brisas did, maybe something to think about?

We love coming here but unfortunately it missed the mark on Father’s Day for us. We may have been at the end of the prefixed brunch (which I wasn’t aware of until we arrived for our 2:15 reservation), as our food seemed a bit like it was the bottom of the barrel from a tired kitchen crew. For our family of 3, we ended up paying about $500… and it certainly didn’t feel worth that. Our lobster was tough, they ran out of hollandaise for the benedicts they came on, and our eggs were hard boiled, not poached. My dad was so-so on his enchiladas and I felt bad cause I really wanted Father’s Day to be perfect for him. The pan dulces were better than the desserts, too - the flan was rubbery and my tres leches was grainy. I will say though that the flourless chocolate cake I enjoyed alongside my boiling coffee lol. Not to mention parking was an absolute nightmare that day — we almost missed our reservation. They apparently cut a lot of the valet parking off to offer more seating, so I imagine we weren’t alone in our struggle (despite leaving extra early knowing there would be traffic in Laguna). Anyways, I wish we had gone somewhere else where we didn’t have to pay and struggle so much. Our server was very nice though, and the view was incredible as per usual. I also liked that they offered bottomless mimosas and Bloody Mary’s. Overall, I’d recommend anyone come here on a less busy occasion and I’m sure it’ll be a great experience like ours has been in the past.

The service was horrible. The hostesses weren’t friendly. Didn’t seem like they enjoyed their job at all. They were running 20+ minutes late on reservations. The menu was a 4 course preset menu, yet the items that were included weren’t provided unless you asked for them and then it took 10 minutes or longer to get them. The food was so so. The lobster on my eggs Benedict was gross. Not fresh from the lobster tail. For almost $400 for 2 people, complete disappointment and will never go back.

The Father’s Day menu was so lame, overpriced, boring, and just blah. Tiny fruit plate, bread, small first plate, entree, and dessert for $110. Seriously?? On no planet was it worth 1/2 that. Embarrassing bad with a smug waiter who didn’t care about his tables at all. Hated the whole experience—save the view.

We had a lovely time at Las Brisas. Love the location, beach views and food. I recommend the chips with table side guacamole. The ceviche appetizer is vibrant and tastes like summer. The branzino and barramundis were both amazing. Our server Hamid (Tony) was attentive, charming and classy making the experience memorable.
