Lovely view and very professional service!
Awesome service by Ricardo! Best birthday breakfast. Honored the breakfast menu even right at 11am and the ambience was amazing with the outdoor covered seating. Made my sisters day! Thanks las Brisas
Great service, good food and a great view.
the food is so-so nothing special overpriced and the waiter offered us a cocktail we didn't like but he nevertheless included it in the bill
From the time we entered to the end of the night we were treated like guests. The food was very good, and even sitting out in the parking it felt like we were in the restaurant. Good job
It was very crowded ... beautiful day. Seemed like it was understaffed. Our service was fair. Had to ask for things ordered several times before actually got it. Our food came out after the party that had come in 1/2 hour after us. The ambience, view and bottomless mimosa made up for most of it. Luckily we were not in a rush!
I've been to Las Brisas lots of times and have always had a great experience! The restaurant didn't seem busy Monday night however the service was terrible, the food was not only very slow in getting to us, my meal was over salted and dry (I had halibut). The table didn't appear to be re-set from the guests before us. We were a party of 3 and we sat at an 8-top - very awkward! I won't be back for awhile...
Las Brisas was AMAZING! We sat outside which was great because the views are absolutely gorgeous. The service was great, the food was delicious, and overall we had a wonderful experience!
Celebrated my wife's Birthday with an early dinner as we wanted to view the sunset from the nearby gazebo. We arrived early and enjoyed happy hour in the bar while we waited for our table. When we were seated, our waiter arrived promptly, made a number of suggestions and came back later for our order after bringing our drinks. I had the Branzino which was cooked perfectly, while my wife ordered the Prawns relying on the recommendation of our waiter Nicolas. She thought this was one of her best dinners here. While they still have outside dining under a tent in the parking lot, we had spent a number of hours walking on the beach and wanted to cool down. It was nice being able to dine inside again. It seems with the reduced business due to Covid, that Las Brisas brought back its best employees. Karly in the bar and Nicolas in the dining area were excellent. Even the employees bussing the tables greeted us and thanked us for coming. It was a very welcoming experience.
Laguna classic! Great service, wine and friendly staff. But I wasn’t really impressed with their enchilada.
Had a great time. Beautiful views. Valet was full so we were late trying to find parking. My Mom loved it for her birthday. Which was the most important.
Food was good & service was excellent. My lobster was over cooked & tough. And at $45 a person for brunch which is not all you can eat I don’t expect extra charges for certain menu options & I don’t expect not to have drinks. At the very least they should offer coffee, tea & OJ. We had to pay extra for 3 of the 4 meals we ordered.
Took forever to have the server come. We ordered the appetizer from the fixed menu. He brought half appetizers and half desserts. I said you brought 2 soups and 2 flans? He looked like I was crazy. Then he brought appetizers. The drinks didn’t come until we were half way thru our main meal. The food for lunch came and it was ice cold. 2 lobster Benedicts and the filet and eggs. All cold... we didn’t send it back because it took so long for everything we just kept quiet. I know it’s Covid and we were outside but the service was absolutely horrible. Very disappointed even though it’s a lovely restaurant for over $300 it was horrible
3 hours 20 minutes for brunch? Service was so slow and pathetic we tried to ask for our check twice, in between courses, so we could leave. It was extremely frustrating.
We were seated in a tent in the parking lot, not unusual for these days during COVID. We were the 3rd row back, even though there were tables in the front, closer to the opening, cooler and a better view. We got quite warm…waiting. The food was OK, but most of the items that one might find in a nicer restaurant were +$, even though the brunch was $45. The worst part was our service. We waited 10 minutes for water, another 15 for a server to show up and take our drink order. Food was so long in arriving that we asked about it. Our service (man of many excuses) told us our ticket was lost and he had found it and they were working on it. Our order arrived and we asked for items like ketchup, orange juice to go with the champagne. Both items we just went without because they did not come. Several items, like a 2nd drink, like we just had, were going to be difficult because they didn't have the liquor. It became so much, that we started laughing each time we requested something, wondering if the "kitchen was too far away," one of the excuses.
We have eaten at this restaurant before and been satisfied. Not sure we would eat here again for a long time.
Overall everything was great, we come often. Just need the restaurant to change up the menu for brunch now and again.
One of the worst meals I've had. The lobster was cooked terribly. Disappointed in this restaurant and will never return there. Overpriced and poor quality.
It was apparent that service staff was shorthanded. Food was good. Atmosphere is ok - under tent in parking lot. Everything was good but not great.
The location is fantastic. Our food was average. May come back here again, but only for drinks and appetizers.
We were seated immediately. Our waitress was very nice and very helpful. The food especially my scallops, my husband's beef and the tres leches cake was delicious. And the view of Laguna was spectacular!
Great food; great service. Thank you!
Service was excellent, a bit pricey mostly because of the view food was good
Sat in the outside tented area for Brunch. Great views from almost every table. Safe Distancing protocols outside were being followed.
Brunch Menu Selection was good. Recommend the smoked salmon enchiladas and Lobster benedict. Amazing roasted fingerling potatoes ! Oysters had a great dipping sauce with a Mexican flair. Also the omelete al Pastor with wonderfully seasoned pork chunks.
The Service was poor .
Very disappointing . Waited 20 minutes for the order to be taken- had to grab our server- when the outside area was only 30% full.
Had to ask and then wait for flatware even though our food was in front of us ! Same for water and refills. A la Carte champagne was served and left on out table to get warm !
Inside dining was crowded , no clients wearing masks .
Undecided whether I'll go back again anytime soon.
It has become our favorite now .this is our 2nd time in one month .
Our server, Javier was one of the worst servers we have ever had. Kept on coming by our table and asking us to wait just another minute just another minute. We finally said can we please have at least a drink order taken, this was after 45 minutes. Once we got our food, he never came back to check to see how everything was and never asked if we wanted a refill on our drinks. I would never come back under the circumstances.
Some music would be a great experience to have with such a big place for dining.
We were visiting from Texas ... use to live in So Cal and missed the ocean view ... Las Brisas IS the place to go for the view BUT definitely over priced and food was okay ... but we knew that going into!
Fish tacos and guacamole were excellent. Service and view from table superb.
Are used to think the food at Las Brisa’s was not too inviting but that was years ago. They must’ve got a new chef. I ordered the roasted chicken OMG That dish was fabulous there was nothing wrong about it. The only thing is I would’ve loved the recipe so I can make it again. Can’t wait till things get back to normal so I can have drinks outside in the lounge area not under a tent
Ribs. Tortilla soup, Caesar salad were excellent. Steak and lobster enchiladas were good. Steak was excellent. Lobster lacked flavor
Good food, good service and a great view from the patio
The food was so delicious and the staff was so friendly and helpful. All the dishes they recommended were great. The view is the cherry on top - stunning! We had such a lovely time.. can’t wait to come back again :-).
Staff was outstanding at every step. Courteous and attentive. A wonderfully prepared supper (filet mignon, crab endive salad). On the patio, with surf and sea-birds providing Nature’s soundtrack. Pricey, but what a wonderful Special Occasion experience!
It was a delight to dine and see the beautiful Pacific ocean of Laguna Beach. Friends were visiting and I always take them to Las Brisas. The Service and quality of the meals are excellent. I can't wait for another out of towner to arrive so I can introduce them to the best ocean side restaurant in Orange County.
Always one of our favorites. Haven't been there for awhile. Thought the prices had increased significantly and the food quality and service declined. No longer a favorite :<(
Excellent service, tasty food, beautiful view while sitting in what had been a parking area nicely converted into seating. The food is a bit pricey and to have to pay $10 for parking right there that’s a bit much. that being said, lovely experience.
Don’t think you can get a better setting. Right on bluff over the Pacific. We had a window seat.
It was great!
I went off peak hours for breakfast and it's what I expected. I had a nice solo meal. Good was good, but overpriced for what it was.
