One of my favorite places in SoCal to eat and the views are amazing. Went for Sunday Brunch and the Champagne they pour is very good. Walk around afterwards on the cliff trail that goes right by the resturant.

The food was delicious, chips guac and salsa all made fresh that morning.

We sat on the patio, which is open seating, and shared a bottle of wine and noshed on gourmet tacos while chatting for a few hours. The service was attentive but not rushed and the managers are friendly and funny. They stopped by our table to ask our opinion and we ended up joking and visiting.

Have been to Las Brisas many times before. Brunch Menu options at that time (1 yr ago) were varied and very good.

After significant bar renovation, quality of food and range of options has tanked. Price compared to quality was outrageous. I had the filet/eggs/bacon option of brunch. I've eaten same items at Spires, Denny's, etc. that tasted better and were 1/5 the price.

The eggs were plain scrambled, nothing fancy or interesting, the fillet was sub quality cut and not grass fed, and the bacon was evidently fried in a deep frier like in hospital cafeterias. All that for >$50! Plus $10 valet parking added to bill for insult. I dropped $375 for a family of 6. I will NOT be coming here ever again.

This was a very disappointing experience. We've eaten there several times in the past and the food was quite good. One of the main reasons for choosing Las Brisas was the Mexican pastries that come with the Sunday brunch. We were given stale dinner rolls (probably from the day before) and cornbread with jalapenos instead. When we complained the manager shrugged and casually said that they didn't get their order. Because I was with friends, I didn't take it any further. However, his attitude towards this was really not acceptable. No accommodation was offered or made. Secondly, I ordered the Lobster Benedict. The lobster was way overcooked (almost like rubber) and was supposed to be served on brioche. I'm doubting the bread I was given was brioche as it tasted like wheat toast . . . I didn't eat it. The value for the money is non-existent. The bill for the 3 of us was $201 (not including tip). We left extremely disappointed!!!

Las Brisas has a beautiful view. The people were friendly and the service is very nice. And though our dishes were tasty, they were quite over priced. $35 for 2 enchiladas is rather hefty. Granted, one is lobster one is filet. Served with the enchiladas was a bowl of rice and a small pot of black beans.
I had the vegan squash ragout. Small portions, but tasty.
We enjoyed ourselves. Just be aware of the prices before you go.

The only thing I truly enjoyed about this place was the view. The food was substandard for the price. I never regret high end dining prices if the food is outstanding, but Las Brisas did not deliver. Our server was great however, so there was that. If you're going to send nearly $200 for a dinner for two, there are dozens of other places your money will be better spent.

I was excited to learn of the new menu at Las Brisas after dining here for many years.
However, the new menu is rather limited and quite expensive. I don't mind the expense if food is extraordinary but the food our party of 4 ordered was good but not great. The new renovations are quite nice and service is good.

We came in for Brunch, and it was the 4 of us and the bill was $400 dollars, I was in shock. There food quality was not that great and for the price, not worth it at all. I would come here for a small snack or sea food. The new menu is not great at all.

We have had many past outstanding dining experiences at Las Brisas. We were celebrating a birthday and decided on Las Brisas for the breakfast buffet. Big Mistake. All of the food was cold, not warm, cold. The lights they use to keep the food hot are definitely in need of replacement. The cold food was not kept on ice, just set out on the buffet table. Ex. Yogurt, fruit. However, the omelettes were outstanding! When the manager came by asking “how was everything?” We responded with “the food was cold” his response was “ you should have told us, we would have heated it up for you!”. Who wants to pay $50+ for breakfast and have cold or “reheated” food. In our opinion Las Brisas should consider discontinuing the breakfast buffet or purchase updated heat lamps/equipment to keep the hot food hot and the cold food cold. Our waiter/service was average! Not a good way to start a special day!

Had high expectations for this restaurant based on online reviews and YouTube videos. The food was pricey and the flavors underwhelming. Even the drink felt like I was drinking a watered down margarita at Chili’s.

It felt we were rushed (the place was just about empty and there were plenty of waiters/staff)
and whatever I wanted to order to drink or food the waiter all ways suggested something else,
we did not take a photo as we all ways do!

I have been going there every year for an anniversary or special occasion with friends or clients and it was the first time I was most disappointed, even with the bill it was rushed to the point I did not get a copy of the bills for my records! I would appreciate getting it by e-mail!

So at the moment I cannot recommend this place, disappointed...

Ever time in town my wife and I eat here and never have been disappointed. Great location-view and very good food and service. Somewhat limited menu, but we have always found something we really enjoyed.
I recommend Las Brisas and will return when/if back to CA. Also - after dark the outdoor fire pit is really a great way to end the visit with an after meal drink or coffee. BB
