Try wood-fired Texas quail swaddled in homemade tortillas, jalapeno rellanos stuffed with house-made chorizo and sizzling, family-style parrilladas - huge mixed platters of wild game and fresh vegetables, topped with pico de gallo and queso fresco - a unique spin on Houston barbeque. Our days begin roasting chilies and tomatoes, rolling fresh tortillas in our bakery and wringing every last drop of Ruby Red grapefruit for cocktails. We hand-grind our own sausage and hand-trim every ounce of meat in our butchery, then anoint it with the savory seasonings and marinades we've honed over generations.A few margaritas on our patio and you've found your new casa sweet casa.

Great food & good service. We took my dad for Father’s Day Brunch. Lifelong Houstonians and first time dining at rainbow lodge. My parents had the rainbow trout and loved it. My dad also said the spinach was the best he’s ever had. Crab cake and quail appetizers were great. My husband had the elk that was supposed to be medium rare but was so charred on the outside (a little disappointed) and was not served with a steak knife. We loved the “theme” of the restaurant. Staff was friendly, but the table service could had been a little better for the price. All and all great Father’s Day brunch and we will definitely try it again on a non holiday.

Met 2 girlfriends for lunch and a leisurely catchup. Rico, our server, was absolutely wonderful. Once he saw we were not in a hurry, he didn’t check on us as often, which was perfect. Highly recommend the Tito’s Martini with the blue cheese olives. Nice smooth blend. We ordered the chicken fried steak, meatloaf, and chopped salad with tuna. Each dish was exceptionally prepared and nicely presented. Delicious doesn’t begin to describe our food. We had a wonderful time, never felt pressured to hurry and left very full. Will definitely be back.
