Havana has been committed to serving local and organic meats, produce and seafood since it opened 25 years ago. All of our meats are “naturally raised” meaning no steroids, antibiotics or hormones and “humanely raised” meaning room to roam, proper shelter and gentle handling. We make every effort to buy only sustainably harvested seafood, primarily from the Gulf of Maine. We have consistently searched out New England farmers and fisherfolk to purchase product that is not only great tasting but great for the environment and local economy as well.

Jordan Pond House, a restaurant and shop with a long tradition within Acadia National Park, sits on a hill overlooking a beautiful lawn along the Jordan Pond. Guests have been enjoying these amazing views and dining at this site since 1893 when Nellie McIntire, the first proprietor, started baking and serving her famous popovers out of the restaurant. Ever since then, we have been serving popovers and tea.Please note: Reservations may be made for inside dining only. Due to weather variability, we are unable to accommodate reservations for the lawn. The Islesford Dock Restaurant & Gallery is just that - a restaurant and gallery on a dock on Islesford, Little Cranberry Island, Maine. We have a large greenhouse right out back that produces a good amount of our produce, source our lobsters from the fisherman's co-op just next door, and use Gulf of Maine seafood almost exclusively. The menu is rounded out with naturally raised meats and chicken and the service is casual but professional, warm and inviting. Make sure you get out to Islesford Dock while you're here in the area by taking the Beal & Bunker mail boat that makes multiple trips back and forth every day or take one of the several other tour boats out. We are closed Mondays throughout the Summer. Starting in September we will be open for dinner service only, and we are closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Season ends October 1st.

    We just ate at Havana last night and are happy to report that our food was exceptionally delicious. We had heard good things about the restaurant, and they turned out to be true. A special shout-out to our server, Enrique, who was charming and knowledgeable and incredibly accommodating. Highly recommend!

    The seafood risotto had cool/cold scallops. Had to fish out the cold one and server brought warm ones to replace them. A risotto should not have cold ingredients.

    Our experience was perfect from beginning to end. We got there early thinking there was a happy hour. There is not, however we enjoyed drinks and oysters at the bar. Wow! The oysters were so fresh and delicious. The drinks were perfect and then we were seated. The food was to die for. There were three of us and we all LOVED our entrees. Waitstaff, ambience and quality of food was excellent overall. I would eat every meal here if I could. Highly recommend! Don’t forget to order dessert too! It’s all amazing!
