**Terrace Seating available for walk-ins on a first-come-first-serve basis.**True Chesapeake is a fine dining restaurant born of an oyster farm. Executive Chef Zack Mills creates a seasonal menu that showcases oysters from our far St. Jerome’s Creek, Southern Maryland — raw, roasted, and in signature dishes like Classic Rockefeller and Semolina Fried Oysters. But, the oysters are just the beginning. Our award winning menu celebrates the bounty of the Chesapeake region by using locally sourced seafood, meat, and produce to create exquisite dishes that evolve with the seasons. Chef Mills has been featured extensively for his use of invasive seafood species, a very delicious way to help the Chesapeake Bay. Don't forget to order the Blue Crab and Bone Marrow dip or handmade pasta. We have an expertly curated wine list, beer selection, and cocktails - both classic and creative. Ample bar, high-top, and terrace seating available for walk-ins on a first-come-first-serve basis.

The ambiance, live music and our server Michelle were amazing. Here’s a breakdown of our food: *Parker House rolls - great potential but would have been better if they came out hotter * Spiced crispy mushrooms - good but could use more seasoning * Lump crab artichoke dip - delicious! * Side Caesar salad - delicious! * Scallops - I tried to like this but this too really lacked seasoning, it was supposed to be lemony grits and I tasted no lemon, and it was sitting in a pool of hazelnut-herb brown butter. The thought alone of my food (purposely) sitting in a pool of butter is off putting. I had to send this dish back. * Steak frites - delicious! Even with the hiccups it’s still 5 stars because of the beautiful restaurant, nice staff, location, cocktails, and most of the food.
