The dome-shaped venue on the Hoe, aptly named The Dome, was designed by architect Tony Irish. We are dog and family friendly.Being such a small, but very busy pub our storage is limited which means we always have a small menu. This does however mean that we have daily deliveries of fresh produce. Our fresh fish is delivered daily from Rex Down, Plymouth Fish Market, and our meat is supplied fresh every day by Gribbles, suppliers of the very best butchery the South Hams has to offer.We pride ourselves on offering great alterative dishes for those with special dietary requirements, ensuring that there is always a great choice for everyone.

    Our first visit to The View at the Dome and we were absolutely delighted with the whole experience The view from the bar and restaurant is incredible, overlooking the Plymouth Sound, across to Mount Edgcombe and the Rame Peninsula, it’s has to be one of the best locations for a restaurant in the city The food and service was superb, a small, yet varied menu, well balanced for all dietary tastes and requirements. The servings were very generous indeed, and beautifully presented. The team were attentive and professional as well as welcoming and friendly, we wish we had longer to enjoy the view however this was a pre-show dinner before an evening at the theatre which is only a couple of minutes by car from the restaurant
