- DDianevipNew York City •257 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe ordered a number of appetizers and they were all amazing. The portions were huge, so don’t over order! We had the seafood salad, the octopus salad, the arrichini balls, meatballs, and the squash blossoms. Recommend them all they were all delicious. Service was awesome. We sat out by the water and had a wonderful time. Recommend trying this restaurant or going back if you’ve been before.More infoIl Gabbiano - New HavenPrice: Expensive• Italian• New Haven•4.1

Enjoyable every time we had a slight hiccup with ordering, but even then the staff was very accommodating and gave us a complementary salad while one of our other dishes was made. No complaints on staff no complaints on the food, except the Ghocchi Cacio Pepe was a little heavy due to a lot of Parmesan. This was my first time trying this variation. I probably wouldn’t get it again, but there is salmon there chicken everything else that they served especially the gelato options are excellent. The ambience everything else that adds to the experience is really just a cherry on top sidenote, I did get the black manhattan with the cherry. There’s a really awesome restaurant in New York that I get a black Manhattan from and this one was tops. I believe the restaurant is bar. It’s near Lincoln Center. It’s the only place I ever get black Manhattans from but this one is a tad better.More infoGioia - Wooster Street New HavenPrice: Expensive• Italian• New Haven•4.7

It was figs stuffed with goat cheese, wrapped in prosciutto and drizzled with a balsamic glaze. Delicious! Three of us had the homemade cavatelli with a braciole and one had the pork chop special. We have been coming to Consiglio’s for years. Always a treat. James was our server and he was very efficient and attentive.More infoConsiglio's - New HavenPrice: Moderate• Italian• New Haven•4.7
