Restaurants near University of Delaware Botanic Gardens

We have dined here a number of times. Service was excellent and two of the dishes were up to their usual standards. The steamed clams however were done in a broth that was almost flavorless and the Veal Marsala , the day's featured item, consisted of a large portion of well cooked capellini with 3 minute pieces of veal and a few mushroom bits. Disappointing.

Food and service were great! We will definitely be back.

As always, the service and food at Caffe Gelato were exceptional. We were greeted with warm smiles, our server was attentive to our table throughout our meal, and the dishes were not only delicious but also presented beautifully. Beyond grateful that this gem on Main Street in Newark, Delaware is still thriving and delivering the same consistency it has always promised.

Excellent choices for carnivores, vegetarians, kids, drinkers and non- drinkers. Everything was delicious.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Delaware. My server this time was top notch I hope I get her every single time !! I wish I could remember her name to give her a shout out !!! Will definitely be back again :)
