Hood Canale' brings fine wine, local, craft beer and Napolitano-style wood-fired pizza to the lovely hamlet of Union. Come enjoy our award-winning pizza, charcuterie platters and many creative apps and desserts in the Grotto Bar, under the tent in the garden or waterfront. The meat-lovers Gondolier's Brother to Lemon Garlic Butter Shrimp pizza and many in between can be paired with one of 800 bottles of red, white or bubbles from around the world. We are 21 and over and although we love pets, we do not allow them in the restaurant. Reservations are for 90 minutes, with the exception of live music nights where you may reserve a table at 6:30 or later and stay through the band's entire performance. Our server Darren was fantastic. He seemed to anticipate what we might need before we asked. The food was- as expected- wonderful. Other than having to pay a bridge toll, we always love Anthony’s Gig Harbor.

A great place to celebrate a special day. All of our meals were delicious, from chicken, to steak, to seafood. Our waitress was cheerful, friendly, and helpful. We've never been disappointed here.

The vibe was cheerful on a hot summer day. My server Cynthia was spectacular. I watched her work hard and keep the customers happy even when they wanted to talk more she balanced everyone perfectly. My food was delicious, I had the petite king salmon amd mashed potatoes. I felt taken care of and enjoyed my time there.
