Rumi's Kitchen first opened more than a decade ago in Atlanta, the result of years of development by Chef / Owner Ali Mesghali. Showcasing the flavors of Iran -- fresh herbs, kabobs cooked over an open-fire grill -- quickly won loyal guests at the original location in Sandy Springs, GA and set us on pace to open our first restaurant outside of Georgia in 2020. Rumi was a 13th-century Persian poet whose words and life teach us how to find inner peace, happiness and love. We invite you to Rumi’s Kitchen where fresh, healthy food and attentive Persian hospitality await you.

Excellent restaurant overall. The waiter was fabulous and made great suggestions. The crab with pasta was incredible. Beautifully decorated. We sat on a booth near the window and it was quieter than just sitting in the regular section. Great waiters. Used OpenTable to get a table two days in advance. Highly recommend!!

This restaurant provided an amazing dining experience from the 'home' decor, professional staff, accommodating kitchen, and delectable entrees, it was a dining experience to remember. I will return to this restaurant often and recommend Filomena's as a wonderful example of fine, authentic Italian dining. My friend and I ordered the Polpette Classico antipasti and Festivale in Venezia pasta entree which were both exquisite. We closed the meal with the strawberry and pistachio mousse cake. Highly recommended. The portions were large and we had to take most of it home but looked forward to experiencing it the following day.

We had a great booth straight back which was a little quieter than most of the room. Mike M was patient and did not rush us but was attentive and responsive to several dietary requests. The grilled salmon and salmon salad were both perfect. despite the crush of tourists, service was smooth from start to finish.

My grandma and I arrived at the founding farmer at 6:30 and our reservation was at 6:30. We had to wait 30 minutes because the place was packed. Aside from that the food, ambience and service was amazing. Even though it was busy the waitress was kind and patient. We also didn’t have to wait long for our food to come and the bill was under $50.
