The ambience and decor is amazing. We went there to celebrate our anniversary and it provided plenty of great pics. But it's a restaurant and so the food is the most important part. We wanted to try as many items on the menu so went with multiple appetizers, split the scallops, and ordered two deserts. This gave us a great intro to the restaurant and we will be coming back. Highly recommend the escargots and octopus. You could get two of each and that could be your meal. I plan to go back to try their steaks. This time around we stuck with seafood and the flavors were on point.

Richard did an excellant job on helping me celebrate my girlfriends birthday. Food, wine and dessert were ALL tasty, as usual, she was impressed.

Incredible dining experience from top to bottom, soup to nuts. Our waiter, Val, was an absolute delight with the best recommendations. The Squid Ink Campanelle specifically is an absolute triumph and a must try. We will be back!

I always enjoy myself at Drake’s Hollywood. Not only is the food exceptional, but as someone who is big on service, I can tell they take careful consideration in hiring the BEST waitstaff and bartenders. I’ve only experienced Brandon and Vincent so far, but they have definitely stood out service wise and I frequent the Houston restaurant scene. Kudos to Drakes. The new salmon recipe is exceptional! One recommendation for improvement: the strawberry multilayer cake definitely makes a fantastic presentation, however, as a foodie… the taste must improve & become more flavorful.

Oh Yve! Dinner was just as good as Aaron Pierre…. that’s Mufasa!! Thank you! Dining at Uchi Houston was an unforgettable experience, thanks to our amazing server, Yve! Her warm and attentive service elevated our evening, making every moment special. The food was a feast for both the eyes and the palate – the spicy edamame was the perfect start, the Biendo roll was bursting with flavor, and the Uchi salad was a refreshing, colorful masterpiece. Every bite was a celebration of taste and presentation. Yve’s expertise and kindness made our fantastic dinner truly shine. Can’t wait to come back! Oh and bring the key lime dessert back please!!!!!
