Many of the ingredients are of local origin, with the accent on free-range, wholefoods, and natural flavours, together with a seasonal selection of vegetables. The emphasis of the menu is on simplicity and taste. Meals are imaginatively planned and freshly cooked with daily changing menus featuring a set course with a vegetarian option. We stayed at Duncombe Arms overnight to celebrate my husbands birthday and ate at the restaurant. The dining area is lovely, the service was great. Staff were very knowledgeable about the food/wine and extremely friendly. Lots of choice on the menu including fish and vegetarian options. Presentation of the food was excellent as were the flavours. Was perfect…can highly recommend.

Great food, wonderful service. Only personal criticism, had to ask for a spoon for the cauliflower cheese, and no spoon with mustard. Neither a deal breaker, but small details do help
