Great overall experience. Ally our server was very attentive and knowledgeable. For dessert we asked for the “sweet wine and chocolate” pairing but did not want the fruit wines. We asked for the sweet reds instead. She advised that she was not sure they would do that. Less than 1 mi Ute later the manager (Harry) was at our table clarifying what we wanted. He restated that they usually don’t do the substitution but he would make it happen. He did, and everything was delicious. Excellent customer service by manger and server. Corporate should consider either changing the menu name to “fruit wine and chocolate” or allow customers to choose from the reds that are specifically listed as “sweet reds” - same price as fruit wines by the way. It is confusing for customers and places staff is an awkward position. Thanks again to Ally and Harry!

Our recent experience at Bishop’s Post had only one disappointment: that due to predicted inclement weather we didn’t choose to eat on their gorgeous patio, not knowing it was covered. We will rectify this next time as there most certainly will be a next time soon! The service at Bishop’s Post was stellar from the moment we walked in, were warmly greeted and promptly seated for our reservation. Our server Jenny was terrific (and patient as we mulled over the many appetizer, entree and dessert choices). If the blackened halibut is offered when you are there, don’t pass it up because it’s fabulous: cooked and seasoned to perfection. The crab cakes are wonderful also. Looking forward to a return trip to Bishop’s Post soon!

Every meal at our table exceeded our expectations. Pricing is fair for the quality and quantity of delicious food. Our server was Shaq who was amazing….very engaging, friendly and efficient!

Annie Gunn’s Restaurant is consistently good. Great food because they use great ingredients. Great service because they not only recognize diners fund their business, but it’s one of the most important components to consider for retaining and receiving new diners. Word of mouth advertising from satisfied customers is cost effective. Great value for diners who look for consistency. It can be loud in the dining room as the bar is center of the room. The beautiful new patio is likely less noisy, but that seems to be reserved for larger groups and events. We’ve not been offered a table there for a couple of years now. We dine early to escape the noise. Ambiance is tasteful, but dark due to low lighting and windows that remain shuttered. Reminiscent of well - a pub and supper club. Younger diners might not appreciate that. Annie Gunn’s is one of the St. Louis Metro’s best dining options, in our experience.
