The Market by Jean-Georges was the best dining experience we had in Paris. It was definitely fine dining, but without the pretension! The service was attentive and friendly, and the food (everything we ordered!) was beautifully prepared and delicious. The server went out of his way to make sure we were happy with the wine by the glass - he was extremely knowledgeable about the taste profiles and was determined to make us satisfied. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to others when they go to Paris, and I look forward to returning.

The food was perfect and the service was good. The two negatives were 1) I had tap water but evian water was charged and I spotted from the receipt and corrected. 2) there was a fly which kept flying over my food and it was really bothering me throughout dinner. The food was delicious and would visit again.
