- SStephanieNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoThe ambiance and overall feeling in the restaurant was upscale. The service was PHENOMENAL. Karla was warm, inviting and knowledgeable of the menu, she was interactive with us without being too much, I would go back again and request her! The somalier was also very knowledgeable and friendly, he listened to our requests and what we were planning to order and the wine he suggested was delicious and a truly perfect accompaniment that we wouldn’t have ordered without his expertise. He checked in to make sure we were happy with it and wished us a happy anniversary on his way out. The complimentary chocolate truffles for dessert with a “Happy Anniversary” edible candy sign was a very sweet touch to end the evening. The house-made sourdough with the Sardinian flatbread and black garlic butter were delicious. My wife loved her wagyu flat iron with truffle butter, my dry-aged NY strip was cooked to a true medium, even being on the bone, but a little tougher and fattier than I expected so that was disappointing. The garlic spinach was heavily peppered and we kept chewing on uncrushed peppercorns which was not great. The smoked cheddar au gratin potatoes were delicious, but definitely didn’t need the fig jam on top. Overall, we were happy with the experience and would dine there again but try different items off the menu! The Otesaga hotel is stunning and we would love to also stay there in the future but driving over from our vacation cabin was worth it to dine for our anniversary dinner at the 1909!More info1909Price: Very Expensive• American• Cooperstown•4.8

Views of the Lake at this location are excellent however I stopped by the restaurant to reserve a table by the window looking out on the lake. The elderly hostess told me the tables were “First come first serve but I was the only reservation that afternoon so there should be any problem getting that table. When I showed up for my reservation the restaurant was empty except for a guy at the table I wanted to reserve with his head buried in a laptop. I then noticed several tables with reserved signs on them. I ended up sitting with my back to the lake. We enjoy Hawkeye coming on our anniversary every year and will continue to do so. We just hope the hostess gets the necessary retraining.More infoThe Hawkeye Bar & GrillPrice: Moderate• American• Cooperstown•4.6

- WMWillMPhiladelphia County •35 reviews5.0Dined on Jul 6, 2024Windy Blues is outstanding! It's not much to look at and there is zero parking at the site (down an alley, essentially ... plus, street parking is at a premium because the National Baseball Hall of Fame is a half-block away). But the place is clean, the service was prompt and friendly, and our food was out in 15 minutes. We thought the cheeseburger and fried chicken sandwich were delicious. And the onion rings! Top 5 all-time, in my book. An excellent stop for lunch.More infoWindy BluesPrice: Moderate• American• Cooperstown•3.6
