    Halibut was one of the specials at a cost of $50. All four of us had the halibut. All four dishes had either cold halibut or raw halibut. Been to RR several times before and have always been happy with the food. This was a big disappointment.

    Celebrating our number 51 wedding anniversary. We chose to celebrate our anniversary dinner at Gar Woods Restaurant on Lake Tahoe and were not disappointed. Nice lakefront views, excellent service, and fantastic meal! Our server, Celeste, couldn’t have been better and definitely added to our celebration experience! The meal was excellent. Highly recommend the Halibut and also the filet mignon was superb. Awesome original cocktails too!

    The food, service, and gorgeous view were all fantastic. I will keep coming back. However, they need to do something about their outdoor chairs. Not only are they uncomfortable, but they look filthy. It really takes away from some of the other merits of the restaurant.
