We had a date night on Friday evening and had an incredible experience. From start to finish the experience was seamless. We were late because of an accident, I called and let the host know and she was very understanding and accommodating. The dining room was small and more intimate that your normal casino steak house, every table was sat, but still not very noisy. We started with raw Oysters and a glass of champagne which was absolutely fantastic. The Lobster Bisque soup was to die for, steak was cooked to perfection and the lobster was mouth watering. We could have done without the sides because of how full we were but the mac and cheese along and Brussel sprouts made the meal perfect. The wine selection (especially the list of cabs) you could tell was carefully selected and we ended up drinking two bottles. Price matched service, our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and very attentive. This is definitely our new favorite fine dining steak house in Reno, by far!

Last evening my sister and experienced excellent service.  chef Josh prepared oysters, Rockefeller gluten-free for myself and my sister. Josh . Josh came to our table. Let us know that it would take extra time because he had to prepare it from scratch .Also our WaiterJoe provide excellent service.

I've been coming to this steakhouse for my birthday the last 4 years. The first 3 years I had donnavin who is amazing. This year was the first with Forrest and he made my birthday dinner amazing. He was kind, knowledgeable and very helpful and friendly. If donnovan is not available I will definitely request Forrest the next time in at gsr chatlie palmer steakhouse. I will definitely return next year for my birthday, if I am able to.
