Restaurants near Super 8 Georgetown

Great evening at Jeff Ruby’s in Lexington. I knew there was a band playing at the bar, so the music wasn’t an issue. (Andrew Moore & Hooch—must see if you get the chance!) It was after a UK football game so it’s really to ding service because it was very crowded, as usual. The Miami roll was fantastic; I will definitely order that again. I also had the Japanese Wagyu and it was the best steak I have ever eaten. It was buttery soft. Among all the steakhouses I have tried from Los Angeles to Miami, NO comparison. The Brussel sprouts were delicious and I’ve had those on prior experiences. This time, I also ordered the fried and the malt vinegar aioli was very good. Again, I will definitely order that next time. We finished off the evening with butter pie. It’s tough to not order it! Overall, a wonderful dining experience complete with music. Thank you!

I made a reservation and we were seated right away. The atmosphere was great. Our server was friendly and did a good job. There were 4 us. 2 of us had grilled buffalo chicken and it was delicious. We liked the sides of broccoli and asparagus. The other 2 had burgers, which were impressive and they enjoyed the fries and pork ma n cheese. We were celebrating a birthday so our server brought him a sundae large enough for all of us to have a few bite. Very nice lunch!

The best steak in Lexington by far! Our waiter, tall, handsome young man with dark curly hair (so sorry I couldn't recall his name!), was amazing! Such a wonderful and personalized experience for a birthday celebration. We can't thank you enough! Five stars to him!!!

I had the spicy ribs and it is the best food item served by Carsons Restaurant. The taste is wonderful and the meat is so very tender. The chef should be complemented for his good work on the spicy ribs. I also had the french fries without seasoning and they were very good. With everything included in the spicy ribs meal I wish that all other menu items would include a side and a salad as the spicy ribs do. We had a wonderful server and the windows open and the terrace area made it very special. Carsons is such a good restaurant. I still hope that someday the chef will offer two soups per day so the customers have a choice when they prefer a soup when they come to Carson’s. 

This was our first experience with this restaurant and it will certainly not be our last. The staff was fantastic! So friendly and welcoming. They love working there and it shows: it was our anniversary and they had a card waiting for us at our table. That was the first restaurant to ever do that and it made our special day even more special. It’s the little things like that they did that enhanced our experience and made us enjoy ourselves even more. The food was so much better than we expected it to be. It is pricey but by the time you’re done with your meal you don’t even care how much it is because it’s worth the price. Chef Rodney can cook! We will be among that our anniversary spot fork now for sure and hope to be back there many more times in between. We just loved it!
