Restaurants near Sunnyside Plaza Shopping Center

We had a very odd experience. We showed up early to have a drink at the bar before dinner and we were turned away. This didn’t bother me much except the woman who we talked to was not friendly about it. When we returned at the time we had booked for our reservation, we were told that because it was Sunday, the only food available was as part of an ongoing wine dinner. Unfortunately, one person in our party doesn’t drink. I will say that our waitress was wonderful and those of us who drink did enjoy the wine. However, the food was uninspired. The first course was a bowl of white rice with two dime-sized (if that) pieces of meat on top. The second course was noodles with pork and vegetables. The third course was what can best be described as soupy tapioca pudding. Nothing tasted horrible, but everything was white, bland, and boring.

We had a wonderful evening and our server Rebecca made it special! The manager Anthony is always checking on all the tables and helping the team. Another great dinner at Regions! Cheers! Anastasia

Food and wine menus are outstanding. The carte de vin is well curated and the som will steer you to good selections regardless of budget. Food menu is creative, changes with the seasons and has a couple of mainstays that are always excellent. Go there!!!1

Overall, a truly pleasant dining experience for classic tavern cuisine in a relaxing garden enclosed patio. I had the pulled pork sandwich, fried green tomatoes and Calimari. The pork is raised locally and much of the produce is grown from nearby farms. I would recommend it for an enjoyable afternoon lunch for two or more. The spacious parking lot was also easy to enter and exit.
