Dining here was like taking a flavorful journey straight to the heart of Cuba, but what truly elevated the experience was the remarkable service provided by our server, Norberto, who clearly loves what he does. The moment we walked into the restaurant, we were greeted by a lively atmosphere filled with warm colors, and the irresistible smell of spices in the air. Norberto welcomed us with an infectious smile, instantly setting the tone for the evening. His enthusiasm was palpable, and his deep knowledge of Cuban cuisine made choosing our dishes feel like an adventure. We started with the barquitos de malanga. They were perfectly golden and crunchy on the outside, with a juicy, flavorful filling. For the main course, I went with Vaca frita, a slow-cooked shredded beef dish simmered in rich tomato sauce with peppers and onions. The beef was tender and bursting with flavor, and paired with black beans, rice, and sweet plantains, it was a plate full of comfort and tradition. My dining partner chose the lechón asado, a marinated roast pork with citrusy mojo sauce. The pork was melt-in-your-mouth tender with a perfect crispy edge. But Norberto’s service made the experience truly special. He was not only attentive but also passionate about each dish, explaining the history behind them with such enthusiasm that we could see he wasn’t just doing his job—he was sharing his culture. His genuine excitement for the food was contagious, and his recommendations were spot on. Norberto checked on us regularly, but never in a way that felt rushed or intrusive. He had a knack for being there exactly when we needed something.

We love celebrating at Jeff Ruby’s!! We were there for our 18th wedding anniversary. The service was great and the food was amazing! My only thing is I wish we would have gotten a special dessert with happy anniversary on it. Other than that, we loved it!!

The terrace was beautiful and much quieter than downstairs. It was perfect for our weekly date night. If my memory serves me correctly, our waiter's name was Abraham. He was wonderful. Gave us a run down of the menu. Checked on us the whole time while balancing the whole terrace. The food was amazing. I got the roasted organic chicken, my husband got the 14 Oz strip, and we shared a side of Mac and cheese. We also took home the bourbon bread pudding. It was worth the wait👏🏾 We will make sure to come back for another date night🥰

Ryan was an excellent server and made our anniversary dinner a wonderful experience. He was prompt and ontop of refills and paced out the meal entrees and other items perfectly. 10/10 recommend the twin filets and donut pudding dessert.

Everything was fine except for the room temperature in the dining area. It could not have been more than 62°F which made it rather uncomfortable.
