Restaurants near Suffield Historic District

We hadn’t been here in years, but the reunion was worth it. We had an amazing experience. The server was sharp, attentive and competent. This was the best homemade pasta we’ve ever had. Silky and perfectly served al dente. The sauces are extraordinary. Tosca serves delicious, fresh creations in a warm setting. A winner.

Grilled Flatbread Pizza and Seasonal Vegetable bowls-one with mushrooms and one without-our waiter Evan and I preferred the "without version" . . . everyone has a right to their preferences! It is great to have the option to insert or subtract veggies based on one's particular palate. These scrumptious luncheon choices were perfect for a business lunch made better because Brendan provided access to a private room where a unique presentation could be made to our special guest. I had never been to Max Tavern before. Will happily return.

I love this restaurant as is but when i saw they were doing a weekday pre fixe menu i wanted to check it out! Did not disappoint. I’d recommend this place to anyone and the service is always excellent.
