At the Nag’s Head we are passionate about food and the excellent quality produce that is available locally. The majority of our food is freshly prepared and cooked from ‘farm to fork’ by our Head Chef Andy Millard and his enthusiastic kitchen team. Our menu is varied and seasonal, appealing to all tastes and includes Chef Specials, favourite traditional “pub classics” and Sunday roasts. We cater for different palettes and today’s changing tastes including children, vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. You won't be disappointed at the Rising sun , Sunday lunch was so good proper homemade dessert was so tempting and delicious 😋 nothing was too much trouble for them . The waitresses was quick and efficient very professional. The price for the two of us was very reasonable, been back a few times now this place is hard to beat..

Food was outstanding! Myself and my husband came her for our first wedding anniversary celebratory meal, I was amazing. We throughly enjoyed. Staff were really friendly, lovely outdoor area to sit in the sun shine overlooking the river. Lovely place, would definitely recommend.

Food as always was beautiful, we had the lasagne and the chicken alfredo panini. Both were excellent. And the pana cotta and cheesecake for pudding were both very good. It was quiet at 12 which suited us and just gettig busy as we left. Service was great as usual. My friend really enjoyed her birthday meal
