    This restaurant is AMAZING! The food is so authentic Italian, not like every other "Italian American " restaurant in Pittsburgh. The real deal! I'm a proud Italian who lives to cook and is very picky... This place is by far the most authentic Italian food outside of Italy. Great service as well. A must-see and go. Great shops around, too.     My wife ordered the Crab Cakes entree for the first time while I opted for the Filet Mignon. When they arrived we were surprised as the size of the two crab cakes. We split one between us as well as the Filet and took one of the crab cakes home. It was excellent and a value compared to similar restaurants' offerings. The Filet was great as usual and perfectly cooked to medium rare. Hard to pick a winner between the two entrees. Week nights are a little less hectic than the weekends as this is a popular venue.

    We dined on 8/21 and it was busy. The food took longer than usual however the server kept us updated on when it would be out and checked our drinks often. Great service and the food, as always, was delicious!!
