Restaurants near State Game Lands Number 2

What an amazing experience, the staff were great from start to finish. We personally liked that they were playing instrumental covers of pop music, so the atmosphere was relaxing and inviting. The chef was top-notch, I love and think it's really refreshing when the chef makes the menu choices. We get to try things we personally wouldn't go out of our ways to try, we always have a fun experience.

1796 room is a wonderful restaurant with many extra touches to make your dining grand. The flavor of the food is above wonderful and the service is perfect.

The service was perfect throughout the entire dinner. Each of the courses (appetizer, entree, and dessert) were delicious and served at the proper temperatures. The wine list offered a good variety of selections. The wait staff made us feel very welcomed and frequently checked back with us to see if we had everything we wanted. The food was excellent. We also had the breakfast buffet in the Crystal Room, and the food and service were perfect then as well. Some areas of the resort can be a bit difficult to get to in a wheelchair, especially in the area of the 1796 Room, but the staff were quick to offer their assistance, and the food and service was also excellent there.

My husband & I celebrated our anniversary there about 16 years ago and had a great experience. When I saw that the dinners were still being offered I booked a reservation for us to celebrate our 33rd anniversary. We were hoping the experience would not disappoint us since it had been so long since we were there - it did not disappoint! We thoroughly enjoyed the food, it was delicious, and meeting the other folks at our table added to the fun and enjoyment!
