Service was outstanding as usual. Nick is the best!

La Tapa is the perfect place for a lovely meal. The ambience is amazing with open air toward the bay, lovely wooden tables with differing and eclectic chairs and settings. It is elegant yet comfortable. The food was some of the best we've had and rivals the best meals in Italy and Hawaii. Our server was delightful and knew the wines and menu well. We had the best (not fried) calamari appetizer we've had, an amazing salad, a fish meal and a pasta seafood meal; all with powerful flavors that blended well. It was an amazing evening!

What a great location - love the feel of Karma! The sushi is fabulous- drinks too! A few things we did NOT appreciate. We sat at the bar & saw the bartenders making shots - giving them to customers to the right of us - we were not offered one - they made like four of them - the customers enjoyed them as the two bartenders did the other two shots made! We liked the place so much that we went back for Mother’s Day at the beach and for the delightful cocktails & more sushi - sorry just a prix fixe at $85 - no sushi (BUMMER) - thank goodness we knew what cocktail we wanted - wish there was a bar menu (NOT) the place wasn’t full - customers came in & out as it was only a brunch (they went elsewhere) While having our one cocktail we noticed three customers at the bar with take out from another place - the chef saw it - stopped - the customers said they were told it was ok to bring in outside food. RIDICULOUS- it made us so mad we couldn’t get food and to see that - we finished up & left. Suggestion - management needs to observe what’s happening to make KARMA a success rather than a failure.

Wonderful people and a delightful meal. Must go back for the snapper and lobster which they were out of like eating with family. The staff and people made us feel at home and appreciated.
