Restaurants near Southside Park

The food, as always, was wonderful, and our server, Joey, was so personable. I was celebrating a birthday, and they had decorated the table with flowers and cute birthday scatters. The dessert was amazing! Firebirds is one of our favorite places.

Overall, our experience here was good. As it was graduation weekend, we give it a pass on the hectic nature of the crowd and the noise. The food was good, the drink selection was tasty, and the server was generally attentive (albeit new). There was an hours-long thunderstorm (think purple on the weather radar) that pruduced a lightning bolt which hit a nearby transformer. This fubared the food order system, but the restaurant did what it could to get things right. The only suggestion I would make is when something like this happens, the manager should comp an appetizer for your patient customers. We would return here.
