Restaurants near South Frisco Lake

I absolutely love this place—hands down the best restaurant in City Center! The food and atmosphere are always spot on. That being said, they could really benefit from adding a lunch happy hour or even a 3pm-6pm deal, as they’re a bit on the pricey side. Still, the quality makes it worth it, but a little midday discount wouldn’t hurt!

Taco night was a big hit, Ample delicious tacos, roasted jalapeno, and good beverages.

Never a poor experience at Gilberts. Ever. Great service matched with great food. A new menu had deleted the preparation of my favorite filet. Server knew the dish and the chef kindly abliged. This is how great customer service is handled at a properly managed establishment. Well done --

The food was excellent as always. The service was great. Not too loud, no annoying music. The prices are a little high, but not outrageous.

My friend and I had a wonderful lunch. My friend had the prime rib sandwich from the seasonal menu and I had the grilled chicken sandwich. The grilled chicken sandwich was outstanding. The aïoli really added to the sandwich and the four strips of bacon were so crunchy.  Becca T did a great job serving us. She was attentive, made sure my water was always filled, offered to cut our single dessert order and serve it on two plates, etc. We will be back!
