Our two-story fish emporium elevates the 40-year legacy of our original location in Chestnut Hill (a few doors down from where we are now). Here we feature a large raw bar, open kitchen and glass-enclosed lounge. In warmer months, we retract the lounge’s glass walls and ceiling for drinking under the sun or stars.     Went yesterday for my parents' 50th Anniversary Brunch! They had the best time and are still talking about it. Amazing food, drinks, atmosphere, and service. We also held my parents 40th Anniversary at the former Eastern Standard location, and this weekend was just as special as that visit. We have created so many special memories at Eastern Standard over 20+ years, and this one is right up there. Thank you, ESKD!

    Bar Vlaha is always our go-to celebration spot, this time was for our 8th wedding anniversary. As always, the restaurant was very accommodating (we had our toddler with us), the food was innovative and still authentic to its roots (my family is from one of the regions of Greece from which this cuisine originates), and the service was incredible and very hospitable (thanks to Kelly and Andreas - a fellow Epirote!), where it felt like we were back in Greece. Our experiences here are always like this, and it keeps us coming back again and again for every celebration. I can't recommend Bar Vlaha enough.

    We eat here on a regular basis and today's meal was fine. Anna's Baked Cod and Rainbow Trout The service both from our server Yanni and the delivery of our meals is exceptional. The meals were both very tasty. No complaints. We will return.
