We were very pleased with our meals at Tavolo along with the service. We sat in the back area which was quieter than the bar area and we enjoyed that. Jillian was a great server and that makes a nice difference. Overall, we will be there again.

Alicante in Mendon ma, gets 5 Stars for every reason an upscale restaurant should. Without the upscale prices. Located next to a lake. Get a window seat, watch the moon rise while you sip on a cocktail. Sit at the bar and meet great folks. I once was a touring musician and dined at some of New Englands finest restaurants. Boston, Providence, etc. Providence being my Favs. Alicante is right there with them. It’s a gold mine. So in a few words, Atmosphere, Service, Cuisine, the view, and parking. Surprise your date, and make a reservation to Alicante. You’ll thank me later.

For something different go for the Short Rib Grilled Cheese, it is mouthwatering, tender and delicious! The Grilled Steak Tip Salad was the perfect medium rare and so tender, it cut with the butter knife. A generous amount of tips were on the salad and again, the beef was top quality. The server was AWESOME, he was witty, attentive and engaging. We were not “rushed”, in spite of the lively Friday crowd coming in. Whether or not you like beef, I highly recommend River Falls for a quick bite, apps, or a full meal. If they can handle red meat that well, I am confident that the rest of the menu is just as good.

We were sat at the bar area so it was a bit loud with the music. The bartender was our waitress and she was doing double duty and was overworked. The menu was simple and hasn’t changed much, but the food quality was good.
