The story of St Andrews Beach Brewery dates back to the early 2000’s, when our Co-founder Andrew Purchase built the racetrack on the property for the royal family of Australian horse racing – the Freedman Brothers. When the property became available in 2015, Andrew and Michael Freedman saw an opportunity that was too good to miss. With the infrastructure in place and with a story like no other, Andrew, Michael and their passionate team of co-owners set about turning the former stables into a truly unique brewery.Before you book a stable in our one of a kind refurbished stables, please note the following; Stable bookings can seat groups from 5-36 and for a maximum of 3 hours. If you are unable to book at your preferred time all of our reserved seating is booked. Really good old fashioned pub. The service was friendly and quick and the food was classic old school pub fare. Roast lamb for me and rissoles and mash for my companion. Didn’t love the desserts but they have a great ice-cream bar.

It was a great Easter Sunday lunch. The staff were excellent and very accommodating given we failed to tell them we had someone in a wheelchair and they rearrange appropriate seating. The staff were friendly and the food was good. The beer was cold and a good variety and the wine was limited but excellent. We went there on a recommendation from a family friend and will be returning in the future.

My cousin and I were having a catch up. The venue, the service and the meal were great BUT I hadn’t researched the likelihood of it being live music night. The band was loud. It just didn’t fit our purpose on that occasion.
