- NNatalieSan Francisco Bay Area •14 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoThe Shuckery has some of the freshest oysters. The Happy hour menu is a good value. However, the seafood cocktail had rubbery and bland tasting prawns and crab claws. The Caesar salad was over dressed with an overly acidic dressing. I recommend sticking with $2 oysters and a bread basket with grilled bread and a tasty olive garlic dipping sauce. The pickled mussels in a tin with pickles and bread were a winner as well. Service was excellent.More infoThe ShuckeryPrice: Moderate• Oyster Bar• Petaluma•4.8

- BBobVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •11 reviews4.0Dined on Jun 7, 2025Food quality, taste, presentation and value is good. Space is nice, but the AC has been too cold and blowing on us both times we have come recently, usually sitting in tables across from the bar. Main issue is staff needs more training on professionalism, teamwork, sanitation. We saw a few staff eating with their hands while leaving the kitchen and walking into the dining room. There was a staffer probably early for her shift but sitting in the bar area, feet on another stool, staring at her phone and not greeting anyone. We needed to waive down our server to take our order, bring us our check, and then take the credit card--after it sat for 5+ minutes. The manager had to clear some items sitting on the table forever that the staff ignored. There were hand and fingerprints all over the door glass even in the AM before they got busy. These are SMALL things but they add up to give the impression that the staff is in charge and doing the least they can get away with at times and management needs to improve training and supervision and the overall service culture. Keep in mind: the servers and bartenders were very good when they were face to face with the customers, but after that they we in some cases sloppy and apathetic. Poor teamwork and poor supervision.More infoPub RepublicPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Petaluma•4.5
- MMary EllenVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •9 reviews5.0Dined on Jun 5, 2025Street Social always delivers exactly what we hope for: creative seasonal cuisine that's as visually stunning as it is delicious. The thoughtfully curated menu strikes the perfect balance between small and large plates, allowing lots of choices and opportunities to try new things. Our recent visit showcased the kitchen's impressive range and technical precision. We started with a refreshing strawberry gazpacho that beautifully captured the essence of the season, followed by inventive potato and cheese churros that elevated a simple concept into something extraordinary, perfect crisp outside soft inside a salty delight. The Caesar salad was a masterclass in balance—perfectly dressed and expertly composed. The pork porterhouse was cooked to absolute perfection, juicy and seasoned precisely for balance. Our friends were equally impressed with their selections: bacon-wrapped sweetbreads that showed remarkable technique, creative ube dumplings that surprised and delighted, and a crab dish that highlighted the restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients. Every single plate was completely finished—not a drop or crumb remained. This speaks volumes about both the exceptional flavors and thoughtful portion sizing. The seasonal menu approach keeps the dining experience fresh and dynamic, giving food lovers compelling reasons to return throughout the year. This is the rare establishment where creative vision meets flawless execution, resulting in meals that linger in your memory long after the last bite. We have been here more than 50 times and we love it every time.More infoStreet SocialPrice: Expensive• American• Petaluma•4.8
