Restaurants near Sherman Park

Our family walked to Proximo for breakfast from our downtown hotel and we were greeted promptly by a polite and professional hostess and quickly seated to a U-shaped booth with downtown street views. Our waitress was also prompt and was very helpful with questions about the menu. We ordered the lemon blueberry pancakes, breakfast tacos w/ chorizo, traditional breakfast and the kid's french toast. The food was fantastic. Every single item was made to perfection. The food was flavorful and seasoned well. It should go without saying, but this is just not your normal breakfast diner food. The food really is many levels above your normal breakfast fare at other places. If we are ever in Fort Wayne and staying downtown again, we will 100% go back to Proximo for breakfast.

What a lovely birthday outing with friends! Candace waited on us and made the entire night such a beautiful evening with a superb timing with each course. Candace was also training a new recruit and I cannot think of a more perfect person to train under. Gold medal service. The food was excellent too.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience and we look forward to dining at Ruth's Chris again.

Went to dinner on a Monday, no special occasion. Ricardo was a good, attentive waiter. My wife had the poke bowl, which we both got last time we were there. She said it wasn't as good as before. I had the wings which were good but a little dry. They were out of Sol beer so Ricardo recommended a Guatemalan beer, which was a good suggestion. I also had an Old Fashioned which was good. The ambiance is cool and the wait staff are good and professional. The food is a expensive, but overall the experience has always been good. We'll go back again.
