STIR is the perfect restaurant to sip a craft cocktail over a dozen oysters, enjoy a night out, or meet for lunch. Located in the heart of Old City, the restaurant is an open-air concept with a large, heated outdoor patio. We are open for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch.Great food starts with fresh, local ingredients. Our kitchen prepares everything from scratch, and our signature raw bar is stocked with fresh oysters and seasonal seafood. STIR is famous for craft cocktails. We freeze and carve 300-pound blocks of artisanal ice in-house, age certain cocktails in oak barrels for richer flavors, and place others on draft for crispness and carbonation. The result: categorically elevated cocktails. Our passion for fine spirits also compels us to find and share rare bottles, many of which are extremely difficult to procure. We welcome Knoxville to enjoy our unmatched cocktails, fresh seafood, and classic dishes in an atmosphere of genuine hospitality

We had a wonderful dinner at the Knoxville Ruth's Chris. My wife and I had just experienced a hurricane in our home town and relocated to Knoxville post-recovery. After our ordeal we felt that Ruth's was our treat. The service was great, the food excellent as always, and a strong experience overall. My wife particularly likes the Knoxville-exclusive topping of seafood on her petite fillet.

Om my gosh, it was sooooo good tonight. Poppy was our server and she was awesome. Attentive, checked on us and refilled water several times. Thanks Poppy. We both had the prime rib med rare, and oh sooooo good. We have found that the food is excellent on non busy holiday times and food it good (but not excellent) on holiday times. Suggest you make a reservation and go during non-holiday times. We'll be back!

Hi, the Foi gras was excellent. We all loved it. The salad was very good. We all had the prim rib. I am so sorry, the prime rib did not look like prime rib nor did it taste like prime rib. I asked the waiter if he was sure he ordered us prime rib. He said he did. Well, lt was not good at all. It was tough. Like I said it did not look like Prime Rib, it did not taste like Prime Rib. It was lousy. Our server was very nice. I hate to complain but I thought you should know. Sorry, Vicki Holmes
