Restaurants near Kentucky Horse Park

As usual we were taken care of in JR style! We both had the 14 ounce sirloin (blackened) with a huge salad. Our steaks were delicious and cooked perfectly. We went for lunch so no sushi nor baked potato on that menu. Their warm wonderful bread, steak and salad was more than enough to satisfy! We actually brought home leftovers. We plan to go again next week for the prime rib sandwich while the lunch hours are offered.

The food was wonderful and Makayla did a great job. She was very attentive, knowledgeable and answered all our questions. Brandon greeted us on arrival and was also very helpful and professional. Paul came and spoke to us as he has served us before. We dine at Tony’s on special occasions and are always treated like special friends. We both had the Sea Bass and it was the best we ever had! We will be back!

The server was excellent and even assisted in advising us on appetizer selection. The food arrived prepared to perfection and the quality/taste was wonderful.

My girlfriend and I recently enjoyed a wonderful dinner that combined bold flavors with creative touches, all enhanced by exceptional service from our attentive and friendly server. I had the braised curry lamb, which was tender, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The truffle mac and cheese on the side was rich and indulgent, a comfort food classic elevated to the next level. My girlfriend chose the pork chop, beautifully cooked and paired with sweet, juicy peaches and creamy mashed Yukon gold potatoes—a standout dish. To finish, we shared warm, fluffy donuts that were just the right amount of sweet, providing a perfect end to the meal. The delicious food and attentive service made for an unforgettable dining experience!

Luke did an excellent job of seeing us. The food was great. Appreciated the watchful eye of the MOD checking on every table and asking how our food was shortly after it was delivered. There were a lot of larger holiday parties going on and every spot in the parking lot was taken. My only negative comment has nothing to do with the Carson’s staff. Because it was snowing, I walked to the far lot to get my car and drove up to the front entrance to pick up my 2 waiting guests. We sat there for over 6 minutes waiting for a truck in one lane and a car in our lane to pull out so we could leave. After 6 minutes of waiting patiently, I had to put the car in reverse to leave. The other vehicles were still blocking traffic when we left. They were apparently waiting for their guests to come outside. It would have been nice if one of them would have drove out and back around to the entrance in consideration of others. It seemed like they thought they were the only ones there and had all night to wait and block the exit. We love Carson’s!
