Restaurants near Selma to Montgomery National Historic Trail

Our waitress needs some training on how to attend to her customers. We had to request the used dishes be removed from the table, request water refills, plus remind her to return the menus. I’m assuming that she’s new but she truly put a damper on my birthday celebration, The ribeye and shrimp scampi were cooked to perfection. The Mac n cheese and the bread were delicious. I had read previously where birthday customers were gifted with a dessert. We had to ask Billie if a dessert would be offered. When we received the cheesecake drizzled with chocolate and caramel it was absolutely delicious. The scallops appetizer was served with lump crabmeat and grits was a hit.

The food was good, but our server seemed distracted or possibly new. We had to repeat simple things several times - lemons, salad dressing, water etc. She removed plates before we were finished eating without asking?

Mother’s Day brunch was enjoyable. Lots of selections. Egg station was great. Prime rib was right on time.

We absolutely loved our first time experience! Will definitely continue to visit for our date nights and special occasions.

Dinner was very good. The crab cake was a highlight. Service and ambiance were impeccable. Would recommend.
