Restaurants near Seewhy Station Historical

Everything about this experience was above and beyond. The cocktails were perfect, the service was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The food was beautiful and well prepared. The only complaint at all was the broccolini needed a steak knife to cut it - crisp is one thing, but this was a demerit, albeit small. The setting overlooking the water at sunset was a perfect end to the day.

My wife and I sat outside and it was as beautiful as anyone could hope. Overlooking the Straits of Mackinac is a treat. The Carriage House restaurant is the best on the island. Everything is neat, clean and first class. All the items on the menu looked wonderful. I started with the marinated lamb lollypops. They were outstanding, I wish it was an entree rather than just an appetizer. For our entrees my wife and I each had a different pasta dish. Both were excellent with a bottle of Chianti. The Mackinac season is coming to an end but if you have the opportunity to go to the island in the next few weeks, make the Carriage House a priority.

The best food we've had on the island. Cost more reasonable. The view of Mighty Mack the best. Service was attentive without being intrusive. My only disappointment was my Old Fashioned.

Over all good experience. The appetizer we ordered wasn’t exactly what I was expecting. But everything else was great.
