- JJoseGreater Boston •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoMy wife saw Red Hat on the River on Instagram a few years ago. On a trip to Philadelphia we stopped for a late lunch early dinner and couldn’t be happier with the experience. Service (Eric) was great and the patio was amazing food was good. That being said the food was a bit overpriced but the ambience and local was worth it. Would I go back, well I’m always looking for a great dinning experience with the Mrs.More infoRed Hat on the RiverPrice: Expensive• Contemporary French / American• Irvington•4.5

- KKarenvipNew York City •83 reviews4.0Dined on Sep 7, 2024White tablecloth dining room, one half a little dark, one half facing the windows toward a view of the river and bridge, a small nook with a banquette facing the water and bridge. The menu is interesting and varied, portions are right-sized (not overly generous for big eaters), service is friendly and timely. Pear salad was beautifully composed, lots of sliced poached pears, delicious. Burrata caprese salad was generous and high quality. Duck breast was cooked medium rare, as ordered, and my husband said it was the best duck he can remember in a long time. Accompanying vegetables were lightly cooked, lightly seasoned and plentiful. Homemade tiramisu was excellent. We will return!More infoTwo Spear Street New American RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Nyack•4.5
- BBeverlyNew Jersey •13 reviews5.0Dined on Sep 4, 2024What a great surprise! I had been to a couple of parties in the hotel’s private rooms and while there checked out the restaurant, The Farm. Liking what I saw, I made a mental note to return for dinner one day. So my sister’s birthday was coming up and I decided the occasion was the perfect time to try The Farm. We were 4 and to say that we were very happy with every aspect of the restaurant would be an understatement. It’s a large, open, modern space with huge windows at one end that let in an abundance of natural light. Tables are well spaced and the room is divided into a few rooms but without solid walls so that even though it wasn’t crowded when we were there, it didn’t feel empty at all. Wait staff (Petr from Czech Republic) was cheerful, friendly and helpful with the menu. He allowed us to have a leisurely meal and never intruded until we asked for service. Now about the food! Everything we ordered was very good and served elegantly. Specifically, we had calamari, beet salad, minestrone soup, rigatoni bolognese, short rib risotto, and wild mushroom tagliatelle with a side of crispy Brussels sprouts. Portions were generous, we shared a lot and still took some home. Desserts were excellent as well—pecan pie with a side of vanilla ice cream and a dish of ice cream, 3 flavors. Wine by the glass was very generously poured and the birthday girl had a margarita that she proclaimed was delicious. I feel I must be leaving something out, but in closing I’m giving The Farm 5 Stars and enthusiastically recommending it to anyone wanting a good meal in a very pleasing space. Lastly, I’ll say that I thought prices were very reasonable given how wonderful everything was.More infoFARMPrice: Moderate• American• Nyack•4.2

But the Asian dishes are wonderful. The calimari was delicious and cooked perfectly We were a part of 4 and had 5 appetizers which was perfect for us.More infoYard House - West NyackPrice: Moderate• American• New City•4.6
