Five of us celebrating grandsons Marist college graduation. Beautiful building and delicious food. We ordered several items to share which was a great way to taste various appetizers. We also ordered a pasta to share, it was heavenly. We all loved our entree, n finished every bite. Pre ordered a dessert cake which was delicious, I ordered, to taste, the olive oil cake dessert, 5 stars. Hard to truly enjoy dessert as we were full but left over was wrapped for us. Students did a good job explaining menu options, young lady helping with water, silverware, etc. was outgoing, friendly and confident. Learning experience for students so it was interesting to observe various levels of confidence and knowledge of their job. We had a spectacular dinner experience, and felt lucky to secure a reservation during a very busy graduation week end. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It is always wonderful to eat at the CIA where the kitchen and serving "staff" are all students. I expected to tip 20% but they automatically add 20% to your bill-- not as a tip, but for scholarships, and I think that is great! Since students are not allowed to accept gratuities, I added an additional amount toward their scholarships. Oh yes-- the food and service is, as you might expect, wonderful! Although I live in Washington, DC, I've been able to eat at all of the CIA's restaurants and cafe. For an earlier birthday, I hosted friends to a CIA cooking class and we ate in the students' dining area. When I was a child in the 1950s, the CIA was a Catholic Seminary called St. Andrews. The brothers used to teach us at St. Stanislaus, our Catholic church in Pleasant Valley. The CIA campus is beautiful and is well worth a visit as it overlooks the Hudson River.
