Restaurants near Schloss Prugg

I was a 'solo' diner. The evening didn't get off to a great start as I was placed in a section of the restaurant that was completely unoccupied yet was the main thoroughfare for people walking into the main area of the restaurant. It made me feel like a Billy no mates who wasn't good to enter the 'cool area' Having said this, I did make my feelings known to the young lady who was serving me and she was very apologetic and reassuring. She offered to move me but I felt that would be even more embarrassing considering, by this time, I was tucking into my meal. To their credit they did then place a couple of couples on adjacent tables so I felt they recovered the situation very well. Hats off to the serving girls. I think their names were Tabit and Vater, but that's probably completely incorrect. Overall the food was very good, particularly the dessert. Quite expensive, but it's ok, it always is. If you can't afford it, don't go.

Had an absolutely wonderful time with my family traveling in from Chicago. Highly recommend this place.

Quiet dinner. Wonderful food and location. Seating outside was a real treat. Will return.

Beautiful place for some pre drinks before the opera! The place and the food was amazing and the service was really quick
