Wonderful table service from our server, Mary . We were a party of two. The food was fresh, tasty and excellent. We had the She Crab soup for starters and their delicious buttery flakey biscuits. The soup was served piping hot, had a creamy silky texture and was full of crab meat. Later I enjoyed a wedge salad with bacon, tomatoes and blue cheese crumbles with a crab cake ( both appetizers) that were perfect and filling enough for me. The crab cake was made of lump crabmeat with very little filler. It could have been larger for my taste but I’ll still give it 5 stars because of its seasoning , quality and freshness. My husband had a fried seafood combo of shrimp and catfish. He said that the portion size was on the small side but he as satisfied and said that the crisp seasoning and freshness were on point . We shared a chocolate torte that was wonderful for dessert We thought that the tables we a little close together but patrons conversations were kept quiet . Not sure that it would be the best for a romantic, intimate dinner . Our bill of less than $150 which we thought was a good price including one tasty and potent sangria cocktail.

Visiting Charleston and Savannah for vacation… this was the best dinner or our trip and we’ve eaten at some very pricey, highly rated spots. The menu is small but well-curated and our server was just excellent. He took time to thoroughly explain seasonal features and where key elements of the dishes were sourced. He was attentive and helped point us to some excellent selections. Every single dish was cooked to perfection and served literally steaming hot. Highlights- chicken liver mousse app, pork chop, airline chicken panzanella.(We rarely order chicken out… this one is worthy of an exception.) Desserts were also fantastic. Space is cool but fairly loud. Easy parking in neighboring lot which was a nice surprise. Bring a jacket/sweater or wear long sleeves, the dining room was freezing for at least half the time we were there. Would come back again for sure! Loved the meal.

Great meal and service. We need to first call out David S. Who was our server for the evening. He suggested awesome ideas for our meal. Everything we had was prepared well and flavorful. The drinks were also nicely done. Clearly due to the service we received we intended to put Repeal 33 on our list for a return
